My Father in law always told us to fill all the tags that we had. I have taken a lot of deer with him all special in my mind. -
Folks, As HNY.com gets on with age so does the people that keep it alive. Now I'm sure there are some out there that do this already. Being on a forum and being able to reach people is an easy way to help them. In the future I can see a forum called take a senior hunting. Those in need of help to get into the woods to hunt. Take a kid hunting is just as important as taking those who have blazed the trail for us. I miss taking my Father in law into the woods. As time goes on and we get older there will be a need, keep it in mind. I think Doc may be ready in a few years, only kidding, he is as healthy as a strutting buck!!

Shot Doe and fawn in one shot. I would blast the Dad for letting him shoot at such a tight group of animals. Its called mentoring and Dad did a bad job of it.

On my jog this morning in Northport a deer ran right in front of me at the bottom of James street. Yes (those of you that know the hill) I made it to the top but out of breath!! lol

Costs of having a well and septic system dug.
First-light replied to agross's topic in General Chit Chat
7 years ago I paid $3500 for a 180' well in Steuben county. That included everything, just turn on the water. Septic ran about $6,500. Tank and leach field. Remember you need an engineer to design the septic system. That was my case 7 years ago. Best two investments I ever made!! GL -
Chevy truck owners I have a problem question
First-light replied to First-light's topic in General Chit Chat
Ok I see what you're saying. Yes it did run fine for a while. I need to drive it for a while tomorrow to see what happens. All I can say is when I left the shop the first time it was running worse than when I brought it in. Maybe I felt it was much better but really it was back where I was originally after the battery disconect. Hard to follow I know……. -
Looks great! Nice to see how things are coming along, you have a love for carpentry work.

Chevy truck owners I have a problem question

First Thank you to all the folks that chimed in on my truck problem. Seems like there are some knowledgable people on this forum. Again thanks! Just got the truck back from a day at the shop. It ended up being a defective plug. My original plug was replaced with a defective new one. They ran all the tests all passed except for the miss in #7. Last resort he pulled the plug and put in a new one and the truck ran great. The miss is gone at idling and at 1500 rpms. At the tune of $125 bucks for two hours of diagnostics and a new plug I'm a happy camper!!!! -
Storms that bad today up there?

Truck is running rough again. Went on a few forums and said to clean the air man agent system and throttle body. I did both but no luck. Now I read it could be the body modular sensor or the accelerator sensor. I think I will bring it back to my mechanic and let hime do the compression test on#7 and look at the lifters. Don't know what else to do…..frustrating for sure. I should clarify that it runs rough at a stop lights, foot on the brake and when you rev the engine and it hits 1500 rpms. -

WNYBuckHunter's Outdoor Journal

Had a guy come down the road with the led light bar on in the middle of the afternoon. That shit should not be allowed on a vehicle, so bright and distracting. Why do you need that anyway???? I can imagine what its like at night. -
In the end it's just about going out and killing an animal to eat or put on your wall. Really not that important in life….guess as I get older the clearer I see things. lol take it all in stride.

C'mon its Hollywood!! lol

I have done sound editing and cinematography. This piece is very very good. The music could be a tad lower, I like the level of your voice. Your actual voice fits the piece perfectly. Well written and not over-done with special effects. If this is your first film I can't wait for the second, it brought me to a place that I love. Keep up the great work!!

I will thanks -
Such a large human population living next to the water. So much goes into our perfect lawns here on Long Island. Half of it gets washed down the storm drain and out to Long Island Sound. Nitrogen causes these algal blooms. Hell half the time the sewage treatment plant in Northport breaks a pipe and it all goes out into the bay. It all needs to be updated…..
