Last night I watched one of those shows. They were taking shots at bears
High up on a ridge. They expected the bear to roll down the hill to them when hit.
One bear was wounded and others were shot at and never checked to see if they were hit.
I couldn't believe how these people were hunting. Just wonderful how hunting for survival is portrayed!
The educated non-hunting public doesn't listen to him. If Ted didn't rant like this where would he be……….I find him interesting for his love of the outdoors that is about it. Would I sit down and brake bread with him, probably not.
Did not have time to read all of this. Just got back from camp which had a lot of snow. What I did see was a few of my apple trees holding a ton of fruit. I did my best to bring down what I could. Don't you know it the next morning most of it was gone. I did the same today. Hope some of the warmer weather works in soon. Its been tough for sure.
With this weather we are having they should call it off,.
Snow is pretty crusty and a new 6 inches on top of that.
Now I did hear it might be in the 50's low 60's late next week. Imagine that....,,
They are calling the LIE the heroine highway. Becoming really bad on LI and somewhat in the rest of the state. People are dying because they are shooting up some really nasty chemicals.
Let me get this straight a buck needs horns to breed???? That is a
what he said. Now I do believe that the breeding cycle happens Oct-Feb but do they really need horns to breed? LOL Good video thanks
for posting.
Oh man didn't realize that was Peter Feduccia he sold me those orange pre-fab horns 20 years ago all about rattling in NY. Wow he is still at it.
I remember years ago a couple of guys out west ate Elk. They came down with a disease that attacked their brain and eventually killed them. They never had proof it was CWD and couldn't prove it came from the Elk. That is what I remember and I thought a show like 20/20 did a special on it.
