  1. Everyone's body is different and we are all not 25 years old. Start out slow and build yourself up. Cutting carbs and cardio workouts do it for me. I know when I push too much and the body says yes and at times no.
  2. Nice video, enjoyed it.
  3. last weekend we had bucks coming into grunts and estrous bleats. No chasing though.
  4. I asked the dog question a couple pages back. I had a guy at camp that didn't like venison so I asked what he does with it. He said his dog is on a raw diet so it comes in handy. I was left wondering if I was ok with the idea. I kind of let it go, to each his own. He bought the tag and could do whatever he wanted with the deer. I have seen people use every little piece of a deer, my neighbor does this. I have seen guys cut out the back straps and hind quarters and the rest left to rot. I'm not saying this is wrong but for me I have too much respect for the deer. This animal gives me so much enjoyment to watch and to be able to harvest to feed myself and my family. Original post: To me a meat hunter is someone who will fill all tags disregarding antler size. Size of deer comes into play not harvesting anything under 1.5 years of age.
  5. Not get off topic but do you think killing a deer to feed your dog is ok?
  6. Tomorrow Grow will have another picture, better yet the deer????
  7. Did a bit of work in photoshop on it. The only other thing I can say is he might be broken off (looking at him) on the right side. Hope I'm wrong........
  8. I had a cabin in Roscoe, loved that place. What road you on?
  9. All the jokes now this.....It's just not my day:(
  10. Two weeks from today and I'll let you know. Fresh broad heads are in short supply at my camp, they get dull after slamming into the ground!lol
  11. My neighbor shot an 8pt 1.5 year old on Friday. He butchered it Saturday and brought over a hunk of backstraps for my brother and I. It's just one of the best tasting piece of meat! Pan fried cut thin, garlic, onions and black olives. Freezer is empty, Team Legend needs to score in the up-coming weekends! Love this thing we call hunting!!!
  12. Dark shadows and undefined edges on poor quality picts tend to lead to false illusions. Regardless if he is 3.5 or 5.5 he is a good one for sure, go get him Grow!
  13. Honestly we know he is a big deer but the picture quality is poor. We all know it's not a 2.5, anyone's guess after that.
  14. Looks to be a 10 pt. Can't really tell mass, his ears are pinned back also I would say between 125- 135.
  15. Zemm that is great you took Zach out. Its a start, slow and steady and it will catch on. Good for you!
  16. Tough to judge but by the size of the chest I would say 3.5.
  17. Way to go, are we all invited to the BBQ??? lol
  18. Cool picks, must of drove you crazy!
  19. Saw 6 doe Friday afternoon temp was up in the 50's. They were doing there normal thing coming from beds to browse. 3 at 3pm and 3 at 5pm.
  20. Those are Long Island deer. We shot two does last year which you would of thought were a yearling and a 1.5 year old. We were wrong when they were aged, the small one 1.5 years old and the bigger one 7.5 years old. Not saying those bucks are much older but it can throw you on LI.
  21. 8 pt my neighbor shot with the recurve. Two years in row for him. Hunts from the ground deer shot at 12 feet!
