  1. Looks good Wooly. Can't believe It's August 9th!
  2. 1 of 3 second place winners in Powerball! Ticket was bought at: WEGMANS #12 , 2833 RIDGE RD W , ROCHESTER
  3. Your so right. Too many times while putting them up in the past I didn't use it. Thanks Grow!
  4. Just asking but why do you need a stand for the target? Is it too heavy to move around, I don't know, never had one.
  5. That is exactly the conclusion I came to the other evening. Next year I won't upgrade the ATV utilities but will go out and buy a used tractor. Good point G-Man.
  6. This vacation is so needed. Got my move done two weeks ago, in the new place and settled in. I leave tomorrow morning with my girls for camp. We have 12-14 people staying for the weekend, some are already there. We do a pig roast this time every year at my neighbors place. Should have close to 100+ people this year. A lot of family from Maryland that bring seafood (crabs)! Rest of the week will be laid-back. Shoot bow, put up some stands and get that bunny my daughter wants. Think I found a person in Prattsburgh that has a Lop for sale. Also upgraded my phone to an iPhone 5. While in Verizon I also bought a jet-pack so we can get internet service at the cabin. I also have to pull the cards on the cams. Both been on video for the last month, hope to have some to share! Have a good week and by the way I didn't win Powerball last night
  7. I think its a good thing to have in place. We bow hunted last year on that weekend. Didn't hear any shots. We did see two huge shooters crossing my fields in the am hours. My daughter turns 14 next year I know where she will be sitting!
  8. Pretty cool. They should of shown more patterns for the gun hunter. Breakup orange, something like that.
  9. Day 9 and it is just about gone. Still have the physical signs but feel 100%.
  10. Saw 6 bear in one sitting last year. I'm in 8P and the farmer was cutting a huge corn field. My stand was on the escape rout and bears just love corn!
  11. From what I hear they are blowing them into Livingston and Allegany counties!!!!! 2nd year in a row for no second permits. We did not shoot any doe last year. We saw some but not like in the past. Maybe all the Bears and yotes are eating the fawns!!! lol
  12. I look forward to seeing what this "City boy" can grow. My area 8P is one giant food plot, they get all the groceries they need. The satisfaction of seeing the deer using the plot and occasionally shooting one in a plot is what I'm after. Let them all benefit from what i plant. I do feel working a food plot takes too much valuable time but the rewards out-weigh it.
  13. So we go to Home depot and buy some things. Among the purchases is a gallon of Poison Ivy killer. We are unloading the Tahoe and I here my little one saying to the Ivy vine on the fence (she is holding the killer) "your going down"! It cracked me up!
  14. Wooly, Bacon does make everything better. Tomorrow morning for this! lol
  15. Still getting new blisters, one week later. This is getting old. 3 days left on the meds and feel better but wow it needs to stop.

    Busy

    Hey what's been "cooking" lately??
  17. Nothing but raccoons 20 of them.
  18. The doc gave me Prednisone. 6 pills the first day and one less each day forward. Actually I feel better today (2nd day taking them) The rash is still there but not much itching or burning. Thanks for asking!
  19. I'm no farmer but the stuff we pull behind the quad looks like a sled. When you pull the lever down the spikes or tongs go into the ground an really break up the ground. Put some weight on it and away you go. These are old farming pieces you can get real cheap.
