  1. I'm trying to get a correct explanation. They said it needed a battery today. They put it in free of charge. Now they are switching out the starter again because they think the new one is defective. This is all a bit strange to me. Mechanic will cal me back..........
  2. They are real nice people. Have been using them for 3 years and had 1 problem with wiper blades that I was charged for and never put on. Guy looked into it and owned up to the mistake. Got free wipers. I update you guys as soon as I hear something. All good sugestions thanks you!
  3. It happens to all of us I know. Tahoe was dead on my driveway yesterday morning. It's 7 years old and I got the click click sound when trying to start. Walked to my service station and told them the deal. They came and checked it out and said I needed a new starter. I thought it was the battery but OK, go ahead and do the job. Went to pick it up late last night (10ish) and got in and click click. (Lights came on but the automatic back tailgate would not come up.) Looks to me its a battery. The starter cost $418.00 and looks like I didn't need it. I have no problem paying for the starter but think they should deduct the labor charge. What do you think?
  4. I have done this a few times. We have cablevision and when the rate goes up (almost 75%) I tell them I'm leaving for Verizon. My rate is up in July and they just sent me a moving deal that will keep my rate the same for another 2 years. (just sold the house) I'll take advantage of this.
  5. Fried eggplant on toast with mayo and tomato.
  6. Grow-Will that clover will get cut soon?
  7. Pretty cool. This was one time being last was not a big deal.
  8. They have had them for a long long time. Bridge and tunnel crossings. 10 bucks to cross GWB. There and back could be as high as 25 bucks when all said and done. ChaChing!
  9. Grow thanks! Deer fly's were bad. Wore a head net in the woods.
  10. Ok I'm back. Here is the story......damn bears really know how to screw up a trail cam! My first spot is in the woods with a nice little plot. As you know we have a number of bears in the area. Well this one bear opens the trail cam and twists it around the tree. Got some real funny pictures of him. The one that is a bit blurry I think is an image of his whole face???? I will put the picts in two sets. The final set is the clover plot in the swail. Have a real nice bear on that one. He has been around for a couple of years and really filled out this year. Some deer and oh almost forgot the aliens were down to take a sample of my clover....check out that pict! Enjoy....oh yea got two birds mating in one pict I think?
  11. Thanks all! Those guys earn their keep. Think I'll keep them around for another season...............
  12. Had the trail cameras out for about a month. Hoping to have some really good picts from the clover plots! I'll post Sunday night.
