  2. Happened to my Daughter last year. It's wonderful, congrats to her. Often we write about the kids in trouble, nice to hear some positive news!!
  3. Father in law this hunting season. 1st one without him and stories of the past.
  4. Welcome Gary. I'm very close to you and shop in Hornell. It's a great area to hunt and fish.

Hey guys good luck and shoot one for me! Not one gun was fired on my property this year-crazy right??
  6. Grow, That rack is so cool-real nice deer!
  7. I 2nd that, 1187!!! Stopped counting the deer I've taken with that in 20 something years.
  8. That will do it. MIL just went on that a few months ago, her apartment heat is on 75!!!! Keep at it Eddie, somethings going to break! (it won't be you for sure)
  9. This 8pt was shot by my brother week before gun season with bow. He hit it right in the neck. Arrow went in 6-8 inches and cut him up pretty bad. The picture is the Monday after gun opener. He was shot late morning by a friend, deer was checking scrapes. When he shot it at bow we never found any blood just two spots with a little hair. we looked for 11 hours for this buck but nothing. When the deer was skinned there was no sign of the broadhead. A bit higher or lower and he gets the deer at bow season. I just couldn't believe it didn't leave a blood trail, by the size of the neck wound you would of thought some blood would of came out. Tough animals we hunt!
  10. Hey "young fella" do you think there is anything wrong with packing up the pumpkins that were used for halloween and throwing them in the woods for the critters to eat? I have been collecting them at home from all my neighbors, they either go to the critters or the landfill?? Doesn't seem bad up by me in 8P but the apples were hurting this year.
  11. Some real big ones killed this year-that is a monster!
  12. Good Job. May you shoot a huge one at LI gun season!!
  13. Around by me sports and academics are big and if you don't get the grades you don't play. Sorry I just don't see you point of view. I'm leaving this thread, its going nowhere.
  14. Gave some loin and chop meat away recently.
  15. There is a wide range of talent on teams, not just for the few star players. Did you ever hear of JV teams????
  16. It might be but the majority of budgets keep on passing, the people have spoken.
  17. Extended school hours-good luck. Kids have enough pressure on them right now with the amount of work they bring home. As for the sports programs, which wasn't a part of the original post, leave them as is. It's your choice to play or not.
  18. Just my opinion-that's what happens when you shoot 5 times at a deer running from you. You hope just to hit it and bring it down........and look what happens. Real nice buck, what a shame.
  19. Way to go Wooly, glad you got one.
  20. That was me "shot from the truck" sorry for that. Situations sucks anyway you look at it.
