I used muzzy MX4's last year. Wanted to use them this year but they are shooting low left at 20 yards. I was told to move the rest and not the sights. My whisker bisquit only has windage adjustments and not elevation. So I bought new broadheads. ( NAP Thunderheads ). I wanted the NAP 2 blade blood runner but there was a thread on here that said they might be illegal in NYS. (Barbed) Plus the Thunderheads were a better price 6 for $40 Good Luck I won't shoot them until tonight when it cools down so who knows I might have to go buy a new rest as well LOL

I also hang mine in the garage. Easy to walk out back and start shooting. I have a hard plastic case for the truck

I put them into 1lb bags and vacuum sealed. I made two taste testers and WOW, Jimmy Dean got nothing on these!!!!! Thanks

Hey Early what do you wear? I think you should post a picture so we can all dress like a "real hunter" such as yourself. Whats it matter what a hunter wears, shoots?? NYS set their laws just follow em

Does anyone have a good recipe for breakfast sausage? I have a good one for jerky but don't think it will work in sausage. I'm not gonna do the casings this time, just patties and vacuum seal. Thanks

I was raised in an outdoorsy family however hunting and fishing wasn't involved. Mainly camping. My Father-in-law got me into hunting and fishing when my wife and I were engaged. Been loving it more and more every year. Now my son is 12 and getting into hunting

I will be giving Goose hunting a whirl this year. I already have my HIP number and will be getting my duck stamp soon. I plan on hunting Canada Goose. My question is about my 12 year old. There are youth seasons for most of NYS hunting. Can he hunt with me durning the regular season. DEC website says he needs a HIP number but doesn't need a stamp. I can't find anywhere about 12-15 year olds hunting durning the regular season. I am pretty sure he can but just not positive. Any input will be helpful.

nice shootin tex! How far of a shot? -
HuntOrBeHunted http://www.amazon.co...ywords=etrex 10 This is the GPS I have. I bought mine at walmart couple years ago for around $100. I really don't use it in the woods anymore cause I know my way around. I keep mine on my boat and mark fishing spots and use it for a more accurate speedometer. Although it worked well for hunting, marking where I left the truck, stands, blood trails, things like that.

I think everyone has there own reasons for hunting. While not everyone will agree with each others, they are your beliefs and you own them. If you want to shoot a yearling, do it. If you want to rack hunt, do it. You don't have to justify a legal kill to anyone but yourself. As far as predator hunting all I can say is its good to be King. We can shoot predators like coyote for mounts, hide, or just to leave in the woods. Whatever. Only you can decide what makes you sleep good at night

WOW, his neck has got to hurt carrying all that weight on his head!!!!

I always just drove around my local area in the spring/summer and found state signs. Then just a walk in the woods and some scouting. Get yourself a cheap GPS if you don't have one. Mine was $100 at walmart.
