Group of six hens followed by a nice Tom but out of range at 80 yds. He never made a peep bit did strut and fan out. Watched them for a good 20 minutes. Started to get windy. walking out I spooked a hen.

Saw a Tom and 4 hens during legal hours. just getting home from planting 500 of the state trees. while planting a gobbler was going crazy. At first it was like come on! Then the more he kept gobbling it kept me entertained - kinda like working with a radio on. Man I am whooped though... Hoping next venture is Friday

Trying new property tomorrow. Quick scout tonight and saw two birds very far off and couldn't tell what sex. Looking forward to some new scenery.

Congrats. My first was won at a gun raffle I think the year I was born. A ducks unlimited marlin 22. it still has the tags on it. Never fired. my dad bought me a Remington 1100 that was my first gun I used and called my own.

Everyone mows their lawn in my neighborhood except my neighbor Peter. I call him "Peter Peter I dont mow my lawn neither". Its usually 8" before town sends someone out and I assume he gets a bill. I could care less it just makes my not so high end lawn look that much better. Also I'm sure buckmasters neighbors are fun. I too will have a beer with them.

nice me and my brother were just joking at cabelas other day about putting one of the solar ones on our deer blind. My other brother has a fancy one $300+ They are a cool gadget in my opinion.

Went to cabelas to pick some up. Wow that place has truly turned to dookie since bass pro took over. If you need sunglasses, stupid candles, or under armour stuff they got you covered though. -

Brother raises chickens among other animals. They sell out of feet to people making stocks and soups. It looks disgusting, but I'm sure we have all had it in a restaurant setting.

Filled two black garbage bags with junk from lake Erie shores today. A few cool things I found: Lots of shotgun wads. Lots of bait containers for worms. Too many straws...
