    I have his book I think I loaned it to my brother, but I'll have to let you borrow. I thought it was a nice read. Went through his hunting upbringings in Michigan and his life. I like him because his show is more relatable than most in my opinion.

    Last year I dropped my nikon monarch binocs out of stand onto a pile of rocks. both eye pieces were sheared off. I contacted nikon and it took about 6 weeks but I had a brand new pair mailed to me. They even gave me the monarch 5 when I had the 3.

    I understand, but they dont just drop without that trauma to the CNS. bullet may have entered and traveled? We would have to see shot placement, angle, distance maybe to get a true sense of the shot. regardless nice deer congrats.

    usually when they drop instantly you did something to the central nervous system. My bet is the spinal cord somewhere.

    I have a dw44 with an 11", that thing is so big it's almost awkward but such a nice gun. I prefer my dw 357 with 8" barrel for hunting. Still looking for a dw 22 &41 mag. 357 in pic. Need to take one of 44
