Check out Stewart airport.....there is state land there If I remember you can small and big game hunt there....Although the line to get in is long for opening day of deer....It is shotgun only...Give it a look.... -

if you want it go get it bro.......I shot 1 years ago that was an m16 replica it was fun to shoot but i would never buy 1 my self....I own a marlin and ruger and they are my favorie guns to just go plinking with.....

I try to carry in my pockets....I carry a thermos and seat on a strap and go in...Pack poptarts for the day and coffee....and off i go sit all day come out in the dark...Do this the 1st 5 days of the season.Then on weekends a thermos...And rifle.....Well walk more then sit..

I have a savage 17hmr that i never shoot because its so damn hard to clean..... even with the.the rod and brushes I for the gun.I have an old 10/22 that i put on a green mtn barrel and over molded stock that is very accurate....I also have an old Marlin 39A thats an amazing shooter..
