    Should probably go with the contacts anyway. I'm struggling with this same problem, but not yet NEED glasses but would definitely benefit from them. All my hunting buddies ALWAYS spots game before I do. They probably pity me and allow me to shoot once in a while.

    There's tons of sights out there. You'll probably get a confusing amount of recommendations. Trophy Ridge seems to be a popular brand, and can be economical if that's your thing. Which manufacturer refused to service the broken sight?

    I am aware of the youth hunt crossbow issue. That I feel is a mistake. I don't think this case is, but I have been wrong in the past. We'll just have to see. It's pretty clear to anyone that actually reads the entire regs on that page that 2013-2014 bonus DMP will only be good for antlerless deer. It's in bold or goodness sake.

    B., when I took my course in both Hunters Safety and Bow, it was communicated to us that a replacement cert. is only obtainable via the original instructor. I hope the DEC can help in regards to this. If not, you'll end up losing a day of Striper fishing if you really wanted to bow hunt again, and you should! Maybe you can show me a thing or two!

    This has nothing to do with proof reading. The statement in bold on their site was done on purpose. I believe they are running this as a pilot ad may revert back to earn a buck for future years.

    In case anyone missed it(jjb4900) Here it is again. For 2013-14 all Bonus DMPs will be valid only for antlerless deer

    Since jjb4900 don't know how to link a website, I'll try to help him out. http://www.dec.ny.gov/outdoor/10001.html This year, Bonus tags are ONLY good for ANTERLESS deer. No longer can an individual harvest 6 bucks in a single deer season.

    B. You are correct that 3S and 1C does not need a bow license to partake taking deer from Oct 1st till the end of the season. I too was unsure, so I called both the DEC at 1C and 3S to verify. You should be good to go. PS, see if you can get that certificate replaced if possible from the original instructor. Good luck this season B.

    I never realized others had this problem. It's comforting to know I'm not alone, but troubling that I see to have this allergy. Thanks for all the replies guys.

    What a sad bunch of grown ups that can't control themselves to constantly post in this thread and nothing nice to say but insults. Then gets all defensive when they get called out. I've got nothing to lose here, but everything to gain. Unlike you Belo, I'm not running a popularity contest and don't care. I bid you good luck and farewell, and you should have left it at that and be done with it. But you can't handle a regular adult discussion. So who's the one butt hurt?
