  1. Eddie, since the new regulations booklet is out, just head over to the license section and grab one. In there, you'll find the $10 off $50 you're looking for. Thanks for the heads up on the sale. Edit: Just realized you meant Regs, not Rags. Time to hit the hay.
  2. Not a law by the state, but sometimes law by waterfowlers.
  3. B., were you doing a rabbit mating call? I need to bring you rabbit hunting with my air gun next time!
  4. It's a gimmick because they don't work with biscuits.
  5. Can't really blame the officer for not knowing this oddball question. You're a hunter, and you didn't know either. You do realize DEC officers are State Police first and foremost, and environmental secondary, right? You also know that DEC officers not only enforce hunting, but fishing, as well as pollution and other environmental hazards such as oil spills and waste materials, right? Just thought you should know before you go knocking on a DEC officer next time.
  6. Don't think groups were mentioned on this one. But to your point, maybe you need to start looking for new shooting buddies.
  7. Where do you live? You should be able to shoot at targets on DEC owned property, such as State Forests and such. I always go to a public range when I need to practice and sight-in, its just easier that way to keep my tools and things in one place and not lose them. I do a lot of tuning when I'm at the range, so I don't eat to be dropping Allen keys in the dirt and losing them.
  8. According to the screen and clarity of the deer, I'd say these deer are within shooting distance with a bow, from inside the house. What a treat!
  9. So did you get a new bow or still shopping?
  10. You're right. Everything upstate does cost more. Good luck grow, you've got a great bunch looking out for you.
  11. Nice capture of the colors grow. Is it a point and shoot or from a phone?
  12. I think Frontline is an anti tick repellent for pets.
  13. If you want entertainment, go look at yourself in the mirror, I'm sure that'll provide plenty of hours for you. If you haven't anything to say about the OP's post, you should probably just be better off being quiet.
  14. Elmer, we don't use such things down here, we just toss out the garbage to Larry's back yard.
  15. Hey feces head, things are well in my neck of the woods. Just trying to point out that there's a possibility growie may be overpaying when she doesn't have to. Thanks for your input, or lack of. Last time I HELPED purchase a fridge was 2 months ago, $1800 delivered for a Samsung 4-door French top, mid draw, and bottom freezer with automatic ice maker and water dispenser with internal filter. White glove service, not sure if your simple mind can handle that. Four months prior to that, helped purchase a true French door GE that also has auto ice and water, picked up for $1200. Now into cars. Rotors these days run anywhere from $15 shipped to $75 each on the net. Most cars newer than 2000 rotor replacement is very straight forward, 30 minutes per side, if that. Joints are even easier, $50 tops for most lower or upper joints and a machinist can press them in and out in 15 minutes, for both. So tell me now, genius. What are YOUR contributions to helping?
  16. If its in the meat, I'd discard it. Plenty of fish in the sea.
  17. It's not very hard to find this person if they really wanted to. Every laser printer now a days are signed digitally and can be traced.
  18. 1600 and 500 for a fridge and rotors/joints seems pretty high. You're being ripped off. I'd shop around some more, unless that's how expensive upstate is.
  19. NYC supposedly made the biggest gun bust in history, says Bloomberg and Commissioner. They are trying to justify stop and frisk that was ruled against their favor recently in court.
