You you can probably pick up a Savage Axis LH brand new, for less than $350. Without a scope tho….

I get real bad leg cramps at least twice a week, ever since I had knee surgery two years ago. They are excruciating. I have tried bananas, tonic water and some other things. Nothing works. I'll give mustard a try...

How many seasons to keep a hang on stand in the woods?
ants replied to regulat0r's topic in Deer Hunting
I don't use hang ons that much any more, but there was a time when thats all I used. I would leave them out sometimes, but I don't think I ever left them out for more then a year. At the end of the season I would loosen the chain and back out the screw in steps. Then the next fall I would lower the stand to the ground check it out and rehang it. I think the best thing to do is to pull the stand every year. -
I have never once clicked on the fishing forum of this site. And I have never once complained about there being a fishing forum on a hunting site. … But Im weird that way

Microstamping legislation
ants replied to philoshop's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
They know that micro stamping will do one thing, and one thing only, and it isn't lower crime. It is to make things harder and harder on gun owners and gun manufacturers and to further infringe (piss) on the 2nd amendment. -
I use to hunt fields. We used plywood cut outs that we made and painted ourselves. We eventually added a few shells here and there, as we found them on sale, but mostly our spread was cut outs. We did fine.

A buddy gave me some back in January, Im still waiting for the snow to melt enough so I can get to my grill and cook them up. I really don't want to pan fry them.

A friend of mine once did almost the same thing only it was his quiver & all his arrows that were laying on the ground, under his stand, as he watched a nice buck stroll by.

LOL!!! I didn't get it until I enlarged the pic.

This seemed to come out of nowhere. What was the big problem with the internet and who was complaining about it so much as to prompt the government to take it over so fast?

It looks great. It the camo kit the type that you heat with a hair dryer and it kind of molds itself to the shape of the gun?

The hijacking of the term" Liberalism"
ants replied to adkbuck's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I hear the theme song from the old sit com " The Facts of Life". It helps me deal with the fact that the Koch Brothers killed every puppy in my neighborhood and stole everyones recyclables out of their blue bins. Wonder what they're gonna do with those huh??? Yeah… I think we ALL know whats going on there!!! -
Last time I made it out of fish that I caught, I used Crappie. But right around X-mas I used ocean perch that was dirt cheap at the local grocery store. Both were awesome. My recipe is very similar to yours but I like to add a splash of clam juice ( from a can of canned clams) a hand full of frozen corn, some diced potatoes and Okra.

No way the Government would ever regulate or refuse access to certain sites….Right?? -
When it comes to buying firearms, the word "need" has nothing to do with it!! LOL!!
