New Never fired popped a cap to make sure it went off. no powder or bullets thats up to you to decide. have primers, primer carriers, and some random 50cal loading and cleaning accessories. $200 PM me can get photos Herkimer to Rome area.
  4. No one as far as I know starts running hounds until after deer season ends.
  5. Tried and true to work. Just realize they are to maintain a warmth. They are not meant to put out as much heat as say one of the grabber foot warmers. They should be turned on as soon as your activity has stopped like as soon as you sit down on stand not after your toes have already become cold. They can be trimmed about a half inch or so. There is a stop here line so you do not cut into the wires.
  6. I purchased the rifle kit and the scope kit. There was enough for all of that and some left over i have done my cell phone and a couple of other odd items. I love the stuff works great.
  7. First off let me start by saying if you have never done it you have no right to believe anything. We have been running coyoted with the hounds for about 7 years now. To begin.. in the pens the coyotes are rarely ever killed because they have so many places to run into and hide. When in the field we don't place shots on running coyotes we try to kill them and most hit them in the hind quarters because of not enough lead in front of them. Most people that run hounds have permission from a lot of the farmers and a lot of area so they don't have problems with tresspassing. yes it may happen where the dog runs through but you avoid that property and go to the next where you do have permission. There is no law about your dog running through a property. We don't send in the kill dogs. When new dogs are put down it is to protect those down first from being injured either from running for so long or having the coyote turn on them. If a hound bays a coyote someplace we use the GPS to get there and we dispatch the coyote ourselves. So to the antis out there get over yourselves we are not tresspassing on everyones property, and we are not creating bloodbaths of defenseless coyotes so leave us alone!
  8. I used the rifle skin from Mossy Oak Graphics. it goes on easy with a sharp blade and hair dryer as stated. I have done mine and 4 for other people.
  9. Keep up the good work out there. Unfortunatly we haven't been as lucky as you with the yotes. I think we are only at 14 for the season with the dogs. Better numbers last year at this time with worse weather. Hopefully we get some good runs in this weekend and some straight shots.
  10. http://www.newyorksportsmansexpo.com/ Friday 12-9, Saturday 9-7, and Sunday 9-5
  11. So you would boycott the sporting goods stores... those that you have spent probably hundreds if not thousands of dollars in because of the Government. So because of the government you would hurt those stores and their employees possibly forcing lay offs and putting good people out of work. How would boycotting these stores help? Some people just have stupid ideas.
  12. I have left my Loose powder in my muzzeloader all season from the start of northern muzzle to the end of southern muzzle. when its warm out its ok to bring it in.. as it gets cooler leave it in the garage never had a problem getting damp or not going off when the time came
