  1. he is actually all over the state and has been for a while now. He even came to the north country and met with local here.
  2. The above part of t he law was supposed to start but has been put on hold due to the database not being ready. which is a political jargon for until after the election. No dealers are able to register yet and there are no background checks yet. So to answer your question at this time yes you can sell ammo. As far as shipping, there are federal laws that are in effect. i would check with those regs before I shipped it.
  3. For those who are not aware, this is the sheriff that Coumo called in to tell him that the sheriff departments needed to get on board with his wonderful law. He got up and walked out. Of the 12 sheriffs who showed up, he was the only one who got an audience with the king. An excellent choice to get gun owners involved. He is on our side no do doubt. I have heard him speak at rallies long before he was ever thinking about this, and he is genuine. I have spoke with him personally and as I say he is genuine. He believes this law in unconstitutional and has been fighting it from the beginning. 2 thumbs up.
  4. I agree but if people will not look up their own candidate, why would anyone think they will look it up on a page in front of them. You can only spoon feed just so much, I am giving a speech at a rally in Massena Ny on 5/31. Part of my message will be personal responsibility and how I think social media will be a hindrance to us winning this election. Too easy to sit home and do very little and still think you are informed.
  5. So if ten minutes of research will stop them then they were not going to bother anyway Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
  6. ok then you are leaving just as many there that will stab us in the back as they continue to do as there will be gone. These are not my suggestions alone. They come form the people who are heading up the grass roots and other campaigns to get rid of the useless weight in Albany. Basing your vote on one vote they did is simply at best narrow minded. But hey to each his own. If taking ten minutes to do some simple research is too much to ask, we are defeated anyway. "With politicians, votes trump principle". Your words which are simply true, but they vote more than once. And if you are going to praise those who voted against this in a political posture move and not look further into their record, you have fallen for their simple play. Just way too narrow minded. But to keep pointing out the obvious and seeing your lack of initiative to take 10 minutes and see what they did on the budget votes in the last two years makes me wonder how committed you are. I will even answer the message of necessity one for you. Absolutely none of the assembly or senators stood against the message of necessity. If just one had, the message of necessity stops. JUST ONE.. You would think one of those who are so pro gun would have so they could have time to read the bill tear it apart and debate it and get three days of constituents raising hell over it. If that had happened, I am willing to say it never would have passed. I personally called out my umm pro gun senator on this. She has yet to answer and I know her personally. She has also voted yes for the budget the past two years which included the 28 million to fund this and this year an extra 20 million to do the ammo background check this year. In your world because she voted no to it, she would get a pass. Well not in my world. One little action does not make her or any of the others pro gun. Just saying there is more to this than one little vote. To keep the rinos there is no better than to keep the ones who voted for it there.
  7. It has no thing to do with any concern than gun rights. You are missing my point which I think is intentional but I will try again. Just because a law maker voted against the safe act does not make them pro gun. See how they have acted since voting no. If they vote to find it or did not stand against the message of necessity is they should not get a pass with one vote. Do 10 minutes of research and become informed. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
  8. Then it will fall short. Rinos who voted for the safe act and then support it after are no more our friends than the libs who pushed it. But to each his own.
  9. and also look at their record regarding the unsafe act after the vote. That is only part of it. For instance did they stand against the message of necessity? I can say that no senator or assembly person did even if they voted against it. Also check their records on the budget votes since. Did they vote for the budget that added 28 million to find it ? if so how much are they really on the side of the gun owners. My own senator Patty Ritchie did just this voted against it, but voiced no concern over the message of necessity as well as voted for both budgets since that funded it. I have called her out on it and if I have my way she will go also.
  10. No one is considering them illegal yet. If cuomo gets re elected they will be considered assault weapons with new legislation in waiting for next january. The next step to wrangle in ny complaint ar's consider all semiautos assault weapons. As I have said all along we were the test state. These other states do not want the same thing. That is what will happen if we do not mount a resistance to this here. Or a federal level law if the same or worse. The time for sitting on our hands is over.
  11. Front page news is Astorino is a racist and they want to oust him form his job in westchester county.
  12. Nikon Buckmaster 3x9x40 on my inline sidelick. Open sights on the sidelocks
  13. keep talking even if it seems no one is listening. One vote at a time.
  14. Exactly. Anyone who is really in this realizes this fight is not about guns. it is about all our rights. History shows with several instances, but the biggest being nazi Germany is that once the govt controls the guns, they take away all and will do so with force. This fight is also not about the safe act in NY. It is about the entire country watching us to see how we react and to see how far they can push in other states and the entire country. That is the reality of it. Either we stand against it in November, or we just roll over now. Either message will ring across the nation next year. Now do I think that if we get Astorino into office in January that the safe act will be repealed in January. Oh hell no. It took years to get to this point and it will take years to turn it around. He or any other candidate can run saying they will repeal it. You need the bill sent to you to be able to do so. There are several who need to go before that is even a possibility. But we need to start somewhere. And if we do not start to turn it around now, we never will. There is already legislation sitting waiting for the outcome of the election. For instance with the new ny compliant ar's they will introduce legislation next January to make every semi automatic firearm an assault weapon and any military type action such as a mauser or nagant sniper rifles which will be added to the list. If you think they will not push forward with more restrictions and controls, you are very much mistaken. If you choose to keep the oh they are not coming after my hunting rifle, think again. If you own an 1100 or a 7400 remington or any semi auto handgun, they are already preparing to come after them.. And the sad part is if they make the list, you can not pass them on to a family member. They go to the state same as ar's have to now when you pass. Sounds a little like confiscation to me. If you are willing ot take that chance fine. I am not without a fight Call me a conspiracy theorist or whatever. I get this information first hand from an assembly person who is close to all this fight also. Once they have the guns, they own us. The second protects the rest. Lead follow or get out of the way.
  15. http://www.cato.org/blog/supreme-court-wasnt-serious-about-second-amendment all the more reason not to wait for the courts to fix this. not gonna happen. But you can pray at a legislative meeting.
  16. ok so what is the plan then? Lie down and take it? Or at least put up a fight?
  17. Well I for one plan to spend my spare time from now until November educating anyone who will listen, handing out voter registration forms as well as absentee ballots. I will also help people fill them out turn them in and assist this with absentees and spend election day making calls and taking people to vote. At least if I am unsuccessful, I can say I did all I could, and not sit back and say well people are idiots why bother. The idea is 5 and 1. If every one of us can get 5 people to the polls and vote pro gun we win. Everyone knows 5 people they could work on. But first you need to be involved yourself. It is not just Ny state here. If the supposed pro gun people lose control of the house of representatives, and I know I have said it before there will be federal laws that will make the unsafe act look like we would want it. Then we can all get out states to succeed from the union I guess.
  18. grab your umbrellas guys the rain on the parade has started
  19. Those are the people who get polled and the polls say 68 percent are in favor of the safe act
  20. I like the first guy typical response you try to ask him a question he says you are arguing with him. Then the other guy who waited for his wife to tell them his opinion. scary for sure.
  21. This is what we are up against It is now or never. Get the word out
  22. I was poking a little fun. Some people just do not get humor. I am out
  23. I was making fun of you and you well to be blunt foolish attitude.
  24. If you think I am apathetic about this you sure do not know me. I was in this fight long before the safe act. But you keep your superior than all know everything attitude. It seems to work for you. And BTW get a sense of humor. It makes life more fun Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk
