He was none to happy. I actually walked by it the other day and got a good chuckle out of it. Its pressure treated so the pile will be there for a long time.

If were talking bow / crossbow from a tree stand then I dont see a problem. But to use a gun that close to house's shows a severe lack of comon sense and disregard for other peoples safety IMHO. You dont have a clue where that bullet is going after it go's through a deer. That bullet could go left, right up, down or It could come right back at you if it hits something at the right angle with enough energy left. I probably would have had a hard time not running him down and wrapping his gun around his stupid pencil neck.

What make and yr are we talking here? I do beleive I would have really had to fight the urge to unload it and wrap it around a tree.

All the deer I have killed have been only by the grace of God. And when I start to think I am a great hunter he sends one along to humble me also. Nice Buck.

I was just talking to my buddy the other day and he said he was walking by a window during bow season and looked out in his yrd.There was a big buck walking around in circles in his back yrd and to his amazement it went down kicked a little and died. He tossed on his boots and ran out to it. It ended up being a ten point. He looked all over the deer couldnt find a wound. But while checking the rack out he noticed some blood on the head and something sticking out between its eyes. It ended up being the threads to a broadhead which was lodged inside the bucks skull. Some bone head had taken a headshot with a bow and the deer had made it into his yrd and died. He called around to neighbors and asked if they knew who did it but no one fessed up.

I found a nice freshly built, pressure treated, ladder stand, the neighbor had built on our land. And I dont mean just over the line, I mean 500 yrds over the line. After he was told not to hunt there any more. I just happened to be doing a little trail clearing and found it. That machete I was using to cut brush made fast work of it and I piled it at the bottom of the tree. He called my uncle all mad during deer season and asked about why his stand was destroyed. My uncle told him because he apparently couldnt read posted signs and we figured he would get the picture with his stand piled up under the tree.

Why would you take a cam?

Geez I must look suspicious or something I get checked all the time. Had an officer even stop at the house and get out and walk across the yrd to check the tag on a doe I had hanging in a tree. I find the St Lawerance officers to be the least friendly, and the Wellesely Island park police are real Richard Heads. My buddy and I got screamed at by them one time for pulling our kayak's out on the shore and stretching our legs. I could fill quite a few paragraphs of places I have been checked. One thing I can say, you may not think you are being whatched but more than likely you have been. Especially on the Oswego / Salmon River and Whitney point Res.

Nicer than I would have been. I would have pulled up next to the truck and forked it all into the cab and the bed of the truck.

Nice buck and beautifull dog. Sorry about the loss of the old one. Back about 4 yrs ago I had to put 2 dogs down about a month apart. The house was really quiet after that. So we went out and bought 5 dogs so we would never be without.

Good to know. Was looking into getting a few ground blinds for next yr. I guess you get what you pay for. Hate to get a more expensive one though. I just know if I dont take it down every time someone will walk off with it.

I stopped huting a pc of land because the neighbors were killing alot of deer. Last yr they were bragging about killing 14 deer. This yr my uncle ran into them and they said they hadnt seen anything this yr so far. I WONDER WHY? Dumbasses!!

Dang I hate you Western NY guys!!!! Those bucks are monsters.

Thing that really pizzes me off is I was seeing all sorts of deer. Then these aholes show up and the deer are nowhere to be found. dang it next one gets the cops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dang it!! Now im going to miss seeing alot of deer because ill be looking at the ground for sheds. I knew there was a reason i wasnt seeing any bucks, they have evolved to drop their antlers at the first sign of gun season.

I chase 4 guys off the land this yr. Gave them all warnings. Next one I find the cops can deal with. this is BS!!!!!!

Spent 3 mornings last week wasting time chasing tresspassers off our land. One guy I walked off the property and came back an hour later and he was there again. After several obsecenety laced comments and telling him the DEC was getting his back tag number he high tailed it off the property. One guy I came up on jumped up and ran off the property. I spent more time chasing other hunters than chasing deer.

Well after a week of gun hunting all I have to show for it was one big doe. Ill have to post the pics later. Wasted 3 mornings kicking people off our land, I was starting to get seriously pizzed. But I guess they finally got the pic. Lots of doe and baby bucks sighted but nothing with the rack I wanted.

Finally got the complete story on my cousin. In the end it cost him $500 dollars and the loss of the tag and the deer. That is some expensive deer meat that he cant even eat. HAHAHA.
