well the general theory is when does the full moon rise and set? an hour or so before and after the moon rises or sets is supposed to be good movement. so if it rises or sets when its dark out, does you no good. however, Oct. 1st the moon sets at 7:45 a.m., so hopefully it will be a good morning... and on that day the moon rises again at 7:28 p.m. so could be a good evening sit too... we'll see how well that theory works out won't we... who knows, could be a good first two days, was just out checkin a cam and saw some bucks on their feet at 11am ....

that's the third decent buck i've gotten pics of in about a quarter mile area... i just pray they keep it up long enough for opening morning or so... then all bets are off till the rut.. u think that guys a doozey, check this guy out... bout 6 or 7 hundred yds away from this cam... and this guy, what a body!!!

you buy the supersportsman? they had a problem with the system the day they went on sale, and that was the only tag that didn't print out... said i have to come back and get it, when i went back to get it, they then said oh there gonna mail it to ya... wth?! so no haven't gotten mine yet..

man, was just out taken my dog for a walk and came 20 yds face to face from a solid hard horned mature upper 130's maybe 140's....had a stare off for about 15 minutes and then he blew out a there... unfortunately I live just south of tonawanda creek within the boundry of no hunting zone of 9c... its only a narrow strip of woods and a 300 yd wide field under some power lines about a mile long bordered on all sides by neighborhoods... explains why he's that big... don't normally walk that way but somethin gave me the urge to and im glad i did.. it was 11pm so im gonna see if i can creep by there during the day sometime and get some video of him... THREE MORE WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! come on baby

bear, can tell from the fur, the width of its back and the girth of its neck which is way to big to be a dog, also the ears give it away, aint never seen a pig with ears like that..

was deer huntin in central florida with my nephew, had about a mile walk in, our stands were bout a few hundred yds apart so i could keep an eye on him, bout a third of the way down the trail we were about to split off and walk him to his stand before i headed to mine, started around the bend of the trail and in the beam of my light i saw the hind end of a deer layin there...what the hell? inched around the corner a little more and we were 10 yds away from a panther and her cub! she poofed up real good and growled at us, man i was paralized , she had blood drippin down her mouth and looked like she was gonna pounce on us,,, kept the light in her eyes and shoved my nephew behind me, her cub ran away and she backed down n went off after the cub.... I truly believe that cub saved our lives that morning.. if she was by herself Im almost certain she would have gotten us... you can bet your A!@ we scurried up our stands in a hurry after that... most eventful hunt i've ever been on, shot a buck later that morning and my nephew shot a 180 lb boar with 3 1/4 inch cutters.... after that i got my concealed so i could carry during archery, I can't believe you guys up here can't carry during archery if you have your concealed pistol permit with bears runnin around... ! other than that bumped the usual hog every now n then walkin in n out.... they startle the crap outa ya cause they can't hear for nothin ya get right on em before they just grunt n squeal n run away....

cva wolf .50 24 in barrel 300 gr. aerolite power belts w/ballistic tip 150 gr. pyrodex pellets. triple seven 209's tried the 250 gr aerolite's at multiple powder intervals and just couldn't get a consistent group.. so bumped it up to 300 gr. and that did the trick.. feel good out to 200,,,
