Searched all morning. No arrow no blood no deer. Guess ill take it as i missed although not finding the arrow really has me stuck. Sent from my SCH-I200 using Tapatalk 2

At the risk of being flamed....i have to wonder how guys down south or out west hunt and harvest animals. They hunt in the heat. They dont have spoiled meat...so what am i missing? Lots of deer sightings today. Mostly morning and late evening. Id love to wait to...but cant fill the freezer from the couch!

Went out this evening with my son. Had a big doe and a little one come in. Big momma knew something wasnt right. Tried faking me out a bunch of times. I didnt bite, but she blew an they both bounded off. After about 30 yards they stopped and went back to feeding haha! Ten minutes later a doe or button buck came in an stood right next to my mock scrape. Couldnt help myself....15 yards. The shot felt good but the deer blew as the arrow wouldve impacted. Searched for blood or my arrow for over an hour. No luck. Gonna check again in the morning because my son swears i hit it good. Hoping to either find a clean arrow or a deer!

Well i say she blew but ten minutes earlier a huge doe came in and didnt like something. She and a little one blew a few times and ran off blowing. So i assumed it was the one i hit. Ill check in the morning. Still sucks though

Literally blew as the arrow wouldve impacted.

After the shot she blew and bounded 3 times. Stopped an stood there. I grabbed another arrow and im sure she saw me. Walked off then blew again then nothing.

I was on the ground. I looked in about a 40yard circle behind where she was. If i missed im sure i wouldve found the arrow. Sucks but im def going back in the morning

Shot at a doe tonite. 15 yards. My son swears i hit it...but no blood or anything. Added to the fact i cant find my arrow. I looked for a good hour or so. All over where she walked to where i shot at her....sick feeling. Any thoughts?

Dad got busted last night by a doe. Friend had a real nice 8 come in only to turn around and go back just out of his range. I saw squirrels and birds. Hoping that changes tonite!

Hammering apples over here in 8f.

Forgot "the can" didnt really need it though. Also forgot some peanut butter for all the apples dropping next to me haha!

All i saw today was squirrels birds and a ton of apples dropping. Ill be back out this evening. Last evening some friends spotted deer in this area around 6pm. Taking my son with me! Maybe he will be good luck!

Ive heard of maybe 2. Lots of guys i talked to have seen deer just nothing they wanted to shoot or they werent in range. Im headed out tomorow mid morning/noon time. Then ill probably go again around 3pm. Dad saw quite a few tonite and got busted drawing on a doe and another busted him from behind. They did see some good bucks too

Bedding areas are a tough call. Id get close but my close and your close probably differ. Right now id focus on water or food. At least thats where my mind is set at

Hopefully opening weekend. Spent my license money on gas for a bass fishing tourney....shouldve said no!
