Yeah i found the breech plug there. But didnt find the screws. Probably hit up a hardware store and check!

Awesome. I was hoping i could get the screws/bolts somewhere. The plug i actually just found on a few websites. Forgot that it had a scope on it but i removed it for a 22 i had. Now it has mounts but no scope or sights haha! I think someone pilfered it while it was in storage! Sights dont seem that hard to find or i may throw another scope on it. I was actually looking at red dots....but dont see too many red dots on smokepoles.

Finally decided to put my kodiak magnum back together. Unfortunately through 3 moves and a few years of being in and out of cases....its in need of some good tlc. The breech plug is missing as are the bolts that hold the stock to the barrel. Light rust on the outside but mysteriously the inside of the barrel isnt bad at all. Any tips on where to get parts and what i should do to clean it up? I was thinking i may spray paint it camo and that would take care of the outside appearance....

I think we are having a normal spring. Last year was a joke....at least in my areas i hunt. Ill take the weather and the sign im seeing this year that i didnt get last year

Super stoked for may first! Got my fiance taking her hunters safety course this weekend...so it looks like i may have a partner for opening day. Shes super stoked....walking around practicing with the turkey calls. Asking nine million questions like my 9 year old. Hes upset because he wants to hunt but ny state says no. He will go with us this yesr though and hopefully i can get my fiance her first turkey and have my son with me when i take a bird. Im gonna assume im not the only one whos getting antsy!

Still wearing a set of coveralls i bought ten years ago....cost me 59.95...sometimes paying for a brand isnt worth it to me. I could never spend 200 on a coat alone. But if youve got the cash spend it!

I shot a gobbler a few years back with little to no beard. Had the full fan and mature gobble and decent spurs....just not beard. Strange but it happens. Congrats on calling a turkey in with your voice!

Totally agree with that. I have one but have never used it...public or private land. Maybe ill try it this season on private land.

Gander in henrietta seems to be slowly getting worse. Its closer to me than bass pro but id rather take a trip for more selection. Either that or buy online.

Gettin super anxious. Fiance goes to take her hunter safety this weekend woohoo! Then its off on the hunt for a 20 gauge for her. She took the pics yesterday and was already planning a setup on these birds haha!

Jakes work. But i would defintley throw a hen or two into the mix. Check out the cherokee sports inflatables. Decent price and very lifelike
