I sold because it hit the 52 week high. I wanted to purchase another company-WPRT westport innovations. I still love Cabela's and I may have sold too soon, but I won't cry over the profits I made on CAB. One of my faults is the lack of patience, I'm always buying and selling.

Just a P.S. to this post. I am selling most of my shares in Cabela's today. The company is my favorite but the profits are too high to ignore.

This year my NRA membership also came with a $25 Bass Pro Shops gift card. I just spent the gift card on ammo. It shipped to my door in 3 days.

I'm planning a trip down that way with my Sportbike buddies this Spring. We may spend more time on some good alternate routes down there as we hear that the Deal's Gap area is crowded and heavily patroled.

My wife and I have been praying for this girl since we heard about the accident on Sunday. We grow up in her town of PW and spent many days sledding at that golf course. I told my wife how quickly life can change in the blink of an eye. We have been following her progress on Facebook and we hope for the best.

I love my house in PA, but not so much in the winter. Ideally I would sell my NY home, buy a place in FL for the winters and summer in PA.

Many stations are out of fuel, or filled with long lines of cars looking for fuel. I hope this doesn't turn out to be a big problem like the Sandy fiasco.

To answer a question about getting a license in another state. I own a home in PA and in order to get my PA handgun license, I would have to change my PA house to my permanent residence and also change my Drivers license to PA. I had seriously thought about it, but there are pros and cons to that idea. The big con is it's tax fraud and being that I have 2 kids in the LI school system, I don't think I would attempt to pull it off.

Welcome Angelo. I used to camp in all parts of Sullivan County and I was always impressed with the amount of deer I saw there. True about Porgie fishing being a Greek thing. My buddies are Greek and they always had to take their Dads out for Porgies.

Meat- American Sports has moved from Rte 110 to somewhere in Farmingdale. They no longer have an Archery Range and their store is small and disappointing.

I feel your message, I think your message, but it isn't going to help the image of gun owners. Think about a parent in a store with their children reading your message. We need the support of the public, when it comes time to vote.

I really like C&B archery in Hicksville. They have a website for more information. I shoot there at least once a week. It's $10 to shoot. They have up to 20 yd range.

Nice camera work. I love bird hunting. I get out with the dog just about every weekend after deer season.

That's what happens when a liberal British company tries to force their opinion on American Sportsman. I like how they make this statement,"... a decision that only affected a small percentage". They just don't get it!

Congrats on the permit. You already have 2 nice pistols that I would want to own. My initial idea is that I need 3. A .22 for cheap plinking and I can shoot it in the range I set up in the basement of my PA house. A 9mm for target shooting. A .44 mag for hunting. Knowing my obsessive/compulsive behavior, this list will likely grow.

I do not have any ill will towards any vendor participating in the show. They paid their exhibitor fees and rely heavily on these shows to get them through the year. It is not their fault that Reed has decided to be a politically correct pussy. It's a shame they even have to deal with this nonsense. I'm real glad Cabela's stuck it to Reed. I think they were one of the main sponsors of the show. I will go to the Cabela's in Hamburg instead of the show. Everything I want is at that store anyway. If you've never been to a Cabela's, make the trip. It's worth it. I just bought more of their stock the other day. The fourth quarter and this quarter are going to be monster revenues for them with all the anti-gun fever driving sales of firearms and ammo through the roof.
