    I don't think they would ever pass something like this. However, I think if you find a deer that is dying for whatever reason I think you should put it out of its misery.

    Heading up tonight for first 3 days of hunting. It's about damn time...

    Depends on weather for me too. I live in the city so I usually go upstate for 3-4 days at a time. If it's warm out, which means I would have to butcher right away i would probably let them walk for now. <~~ which will probably happen to me this weekend

    Using rage hypodermics right now. I like them so far. If I switch to fixed blades I am going to try Magnus buzzcutz. Only hear good things about them. Let me know if anyone has experience

    I set it up with federal ballistic tip and am getting 1.5 inch groups. I accidentally bought a box of federal trophy copper tip which I'm not allowed to return. I called federal and they told me shooting at 50-100 yards the difference in pint of impact won't be more than 1 inch to 1.5 so when I finish the ballistics it shouldn't be too hard to adjust

    I'm not scientist but I'm pretty sure a deer doesn't know what they're looking at when they see/sniff a gut pile. I doubt they watch outdoor channels or have been hunting themselves. That being said, I gut them where they lay.

    It was extremely cheap for me. $50 raffle [emoji2][emoji2]. Wish I could get that lucky while hunting lol
