    Change of plans. Wife called and is driving over to sit blind with me until dark. First time ever. Should be interesting especially if a doe stops by.

    Took a walk. Pushed up 2d. One stayed long enough for a shot but I just couldn’t find a good gap in the trees for a clean shot. She got tired of waiting for me to find one. Lol. Going to sit another hour then one more walk through a different bedding area and home to watch football.

    “No point hunting this weekend....... rest up and hit it the next two weekends.” That was the plan and instead I cooked breakfast for family and am heading out for the 10-2 pm hunting shift. It’s a sickness. Lol. Good luck all. Going to try the Pygmy christened muzzleloader.

    I think my neighbor is the largest farm in Livingston. Co with 7000 acres but it’s not all contiguous. Still small potatoes by comparison to Midwest farms.

    Our most productive spot is a whopping 30acres - 10 of which is pasture. I own 40 which ain’t too shabby either. A couple more farms with small 7-15 acre woodlots and one that I think is around 30 acres of woods. Pretty good quality, not much for quantity and for the most part we hunt 3 people each hunt. But I ain’t complaining.

    Very cool Apexer. I think most of us could echo similar comments of learning from one another. I have also made some really good friends on this forum. I certainly am grateful for it and the people here.
