    High density areas they are not hard to come by. Not sure how much I would hunt it but I seriously doubt a 3 day season in sept would impact bow season on any of our properties. A few of them have guts shooting on the nuisance permits anyway and on the others the pressure is limited.

    My one take away is that deer weigh more than humans with the same chest size. A buck my size would be well over 400lbs. I feel much skinnier now.

    I voted no but doe only in high pop areas for 3 days in Sept. would be fine. Wouldn't be much different than nuisance permits.

    Even high density there is a point where we say enough is enough. In the scenario u mention, I would say 1-2 does. If you are holding out for better bucks, shoot them when you can. You never know when or if you will have a second encounter.

    Well saw 5 doe. Most of them at 200plus yards and one at 70 or so with no lane to shoot. Fun time with the kiddo.

    That’s a winter wheat field to s. About 30yds to edge. Plot is to our west 10yds. Honestly plot isn’t being used much. Winter wheat seems the better draw.

    I was using the Hawaiian girth chart. Must be more like NY whitetail than PA. By the way, they also sell meat there by the cubic foot due the water retention issues noted by Wolc.
