I think every hunter should be required to kill a doe with an atlatl before they can hunt for a buck and then they can use any implement they want. It will ensure survival of the species and probably no injuries from hunting accidents at all. This idea is soooooooo good, I should nominate myself for DEC commissioner.

Did any of the 3 that were shot die? Last I heard 2 were OK and one was in critical condition. Prayers sent for them.

Yep Valkyrie uses the same mag but more of a big coyote round from what I read. I like the option for bigger hole from the .277 bullet. My long range is 200yds. Ha. Mpbr will still be around 300 I think.

Still have the Cam but only tried filming once and my buddy passed on a small buck. I am returning the sxp. You guaranteed it would kill turkeys. NOT!

I wonder if DEC views less than 10,000 as statistically significant given the likely sampling errors involved in the inexact way they collect data. I didn't do well in statistics in college (mostly because I never showed up for class with all my important extracurricular activities) but I would question its significance.

Tad more than 556 meaning kick, not knock down power. That looks to be much more.

Any try deer hunting with this caliber? I have a credit to use up with Stag Arms and thinking of ordering an upper in this caliber. It looks pretty good for deer hunting.

Or for my Border, same exact arrows red and yellow but yellow 2.5” shorter with 110g more headweight. Both shoot well. The red will shoot a bit flatter being 100g lighter. It’s an example of how different arrow configurations can tune to the same bow. Just takes trial and error and some experience to understand what adjustments to make.

Doewhacker asked about tuning, this is an example of tuning an arrow to bow just by cutting. My tune (shown above) is full length 340s and 300g heads. This top group is 400s with 300g heads but cut 2” shorter bottom are still 340s. The 400s end up a bit lighte too due to weaker spine and cutting. But same bow, arrow type, and head weight. Only difference is 400 vs 340 and 2” cut off. They will both work.

We hunt good properties Rob. Don't be too impressed. I pass more than I shoot and always have 7 tags available.
