And my daughter was so impressed with the pencil holder we made from a 4x4 block (although the holes weren't quite even). I better not let her see this thread as it may lead to unreasonable expectations. lol Nice work Taco. -

In all seriousness, since I don't know what "smart casual" means, are zubaz pants and a mesh 1/2 shirt ok for dress code? i don't want Phade to feel underdressed.

You driving your restored classic? Love to see it. I assume its a bit on the slow side though for a long drive.

My 8yr old daughter shoots a longbow with fingers. I am sure at some point she will try a compound and release but I am happy she is starting with fingers and no sight. I learned so much more about shooting a bow well, both compound and non-compounds, once I started shooting traditional bows. I am not a coach, so other may be more qualified to offer advice, but I would stick with fingers for now.

That stalk is most impressive. Saturday when we were chasing that Tom, Phade looked at me and asked "do you think you can crawl?" And he was dead serious. My immediate thought was, do I have to? Wait a minute, is this Deliverance hazing?

I recall seeing them at the archery show in Cleveland 3 years ago. They looked nice enough. Pull it out and shoot it. I bet your gramps will be smiling to see you kill a deer with the bow he never got a chance to use.

I drive a sissy truck. What did you expect? LOL actually, it is Winchester sxp 12 gauge. Shows how close I am with my turkey gun. But my slug gun is only 20 gauge so still a sissy.

Suburban tract but trust me, if a jake or Tom was following, I would have been in my backyard with bow in hand calling from the deck. lol Neighbors are cool with me shooting the bow. A 20 gauge, not so much I think.
