First time shooting the recurve in months. Not a horrible group but aim was a bit off. I should be ok by season if I start shooting a bit. Good news is that bareshaft hit with fletched so form is ok.

I am with you there, but I do use sticks on occasion, just not set 2' apart. I would tear my my skinny jeans reaching for that next stick!

If its more than 75yds, the ATV is coming out! The only benefit for me (really my garbagemen,) is that if I butchered in field, there would not be a smelly carcass in my tote as occasionally happens from Oct. through Dec. But to each his own.

Lol. Considering I haven’t been to either property since April, I am not sure either of us can find the stands. This may be a less productive season but some things are more important.

If you are busting ribs, doesn’t sound like bad performance. Out of curiosity, what is your total arrow weight with head? I have never had any questionable penetration with rage but also shoot 72-82lbs and 520g arrows. Always wondered whether draw weight or arrow weight played the bigger role in penetration for me.

I like my summit goliath and would use it if hunting out of state or new land. But my home turf has plenty of stands, to the point that I (and several others) can hunt without over pressuring and still cover pretty much everywhere I want. If I see movement that makes me want to move, I just add another ladder. I guess I am lazy.
