  1. The snow actually is what kills them. When they fall off a deer and drop on the snow, they usually die. This virus is not "new" to the world but it is extremely rare. Only 8 people have been infected with only in the world, and so far this man is the only documented case of this in the U.S. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Right now I only have a 30-06 and a 12 gauge but in plan on getting a 22 mag and a 223 soon. I also hope on getting a lever action in 357/38 one day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Sorry To hear about your dog! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. There isn't that much on the ground, the problem is that there is such an over population out there, that the mature deer eat most of the quality browse in the larger pine barren areas.
  5. Saw it all over the LI hunting facebook group. Such a shame!
  6. I doubt you'll find many people or really anyone out in this cold. Once it warms up a bit, people usually fish for flounder, hold over stripers, weakfish and cod.
  7. Haha I have the same exact thoughts that you had. Decisions decisions! So you have taken coyotes with the .223?
  8. I have a T/C Icon in 30-06. One of the best rifles I have ever shot and its my go-to gun for deer hunting. I almost picked up a venture in 22-250 but i sorta blew it on that but ill probably get one in 223 soon. I suggest you get a T/C!
  9. Im interested in saving the pelts and i hear that 223 can destroy a fox pelt which is why ive been leaning toward 22 mag. I may just end up getting a .223.
  10. Ohhh that makes more sense. Here i was thinking it was about christmas...dooh!
  11. This was taken from the laughable attempt to ban machete's to the accusation that were trying to "ban" Christmas...amazing!
  12. You get anything at rocky point this year?
  13. Any one have the ruger american rimfire rifle?
  14. Accuracy is a big concern of mine. The reason I was looking at 22 mag was because I want something that will be pelt friendly on the occasion that I'll be going fox or coyote hunting. I almost got a 22 250 a few weeks ago but I was to busy to go and get it when it was on sale so I went back to looking at a 22. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'm planning on getting a 22 mag soon and I've been thinking of getting either the Henry lever action 22 mag frontier or regular one or the savage 93. Which one would you get and why? Accuracy is at the top of my list so if any of you have any experience between to two please share what you thought of the accuracy.
  16. I was so sad when i heard the news. I never read their books not did i eve meet them but i hear they were stand up guys and the books were awesome! I did follow them for a little while though.
  17. Well anytime you go to the Adirondacks, your going to have low pressure rates to absolutely none at all.
  18. Wow thats a lot of technical stuff. I used to have a tank for a while so I still remember how to take care of it. I think this requires way more time then I have to spare.
  19. Holy Crap! How much would a tank like that cost someone?
  20. Enjoy! Maybe you can get out for a yote hunt and don't forget to thank your neighbor!
  21. haha good point. You need like a 10 gallon tank at least. Brook trout would also be awesome to have and I would doubt they need much either. I used to have a lot of fish as a kid but I never knew what they were...I saw what I liked in the store.
  22. Well if you have a big enough tank i would suggest a small or large mouth bass. Those guys are pretty cool!
