I think it will probably be incorporated fully into archery season eventually. My only fear is that we'll be dealing with more of those morons that don't practice or even sight in their crossbow.
On the land that I hunt its wide enough for a tractor because the neighbor uses wood for fuel so he goes onto the property from time to time to get wood. It helps when walking to and from my stands.
I think you might be able to order from Cabelas and send it to one of their stores. I think your closer to the CT one so that might be a better option.
I cant wait to have the chance to hunt moose in NY! I would gladly pay for the chance. Id love to see elk as well but they have to be re-introduced first.
Currently I will be taking a good of mine friend and his father out deer hunting during the 15 season. I also am helping another friend get into hunting. I hope ill get quite a few people into hunting.
I use the classic 3-9X40 scope. I think its the perfect scope for most conditions. You could shoot out to 400 yards with that scope if you wanted, but its going to take some practice.
You can legally hunt with that rifle as far as I know. Bringing it into the state is a different story. Good luck with that because those laws are so confusing.
chestnuts are far superior to acorns and Oak trees in many ways. My bio professor's adviser works at Suny ESF and we a had a little discussion on it today. Fascinating stuff really.
