  1. Thought about doing the same when I get a piece of property. Should also be great around food plots as well as a hedge row. My father used to do this back in the old country to keep the wolves, fox, jackal and people out of their yard and barns. Great idea grow! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    FLIR

I thought about it before, but its just way too expensive to bother with.
  3. Congrats! Its a great school and only about 45 min from Manhattan by MTA (at least that's what it is from Queens College).
  4. As VJP said, these are Rocky Mountain elk instead of the Eastern Elk we used to have. I heard that the elk in New Zealand are Eastern Elk. It would be great to have Eastern Elk back in NY.
  5. What kind of grapes did you plant? Was it for wildlife or for yourself?
  6. I saw quite a few in jersey while driving up from Florida yesterday. I saw a couple really nice strutters and even one nice one in NC.
  7. My 30-06 doesn't have any irons but that doesn't bother me because I never intend on not using a scope with it. I do prefer to have them on my rifle just in case.
  8. Most of them don't read the text books anyway
  9. Have you thought about queens college? It was rated as being the best education for the money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. While driving around in jersey yesterday, I saw quite a few turkeys and a few strutters as well. Looks like spring is finally starting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Well I only have ever had a compound bow so is have to go with that. Maybe I'll get a recurve this year or next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Well most of my garden is trees now with 7 fig trees (4 different kinds) and 3 peach trees (2 kinds), but ill probably be planting around 10 tomato plants with most of those being cherry tomatoes. I also have some strawberries and sage.
  13. T/C Icon in 30-06! Light recoil and just a nice gun.
  14. Looks like fun! Hopefully ill be able to do that one day.
  15. Id have to say that you should use an owl hooter like the others said.
  16. Haha I could barely afford it if it was free! College takes all of my money. Hopefully I'll get me one, one day after I graduate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. True but if you keep it at 20 and learn the changes at different yardages then it could be a great system. I think both three and one pin sights are great!
  18. I have thought about switching over as well. I don't take any shots over 30 yards and I know many people wont either. It certainly take the glare of the pins out of the picture.
  19. Beautiful as always! Do you only make them for your self or do you make them profit as well?
  20. Nothing wrong with a Chinese chestnut, but the only problem is that they are an orchard tree and are easily out competed unless taken care of. An American would be like a set it and forget it tree. Although the chinese prodices some giant chestnuts and they do produce quite a bit of them.
  21. If rifles are allowed, it should be a legal implement as long as the magazine is the right size.
