Laneway dumps me out st bottom of cut corn , large buck feeding 200 yards out. When he puts his head down I duck walk ( rolling field we can’t see each other now ) the 30 yards to my trail in. One step at a time get a little ways in and bust some turkeys off roost . Which I’m happy about , cover my noise . Buck should be buy any minute now.....

37 and still , time to get dressed and head in.

I hunt really good AG land in 8H, shot a few 2 1/2 over the years . Id say 3 1/2

Might be easier to list days I'm working .From today Oct 25th till Nov 30th I work .Nov 9,10,11 ,15,16,17, 27,28,29 So 9 " days" of work in the next 36 .

I'm off now till Nov 9th , when I go, back in for three nights , we should try to meet up .

Pretty sure I won’t , have not eeen one deer, from one of my best stands. First sit of the year on it as well . I have my xbow and block in the car to practice after the hunt . But after that other thread I’m aftaid to do it with camo on at my hunting spot !

So interesting sitting in a stand , not knowing if you’ll be physically able to draw your bow .

I'll be out as well in the AM still watching World Series and sipping gin and tonics with a heating pad on my shoulder right now . Hope I can draw back on Stand, if a descent buck walks by . I don't get up,til 5 or 5:15 love the late light this time of year !
