Doc....he's just too valuable to me as he is right now...and I don't have the $$$ needed to buy enough of the stuff to cover him!!....Lol he's been....fermenting and is carrying on the breeze far and wide...I'm glad he is south of the house and the wind blows from the North /West.....I have to don a hazmat suit to clean the barn...every thing he touches stinks even the steel gate

I'm frying up a bunch to eat and freeze...to bake later....can't get them all covered and the nights have gotten colder earlier this year doing them out on the grill so the house doesn't smell

As you've seen...I really don't give a rats behind what any one thinks of me...so I have no qualms saying this.... Reading back over some of these post gives me a crystal clear view and idea of why antis...moderates and even hunters say the negative things they do about hunters...sad and the worst of it is some of these are just as extreme to "your" side in bashing dept as the anti's you despise.... So go for it shoot the messenger take your best shot ...but before doing so...take the time to just read through the post and think about it...hey JMO

I love this...one wanting to tear into a hunting organization...because of different views on weapons ....another offering up a compromise and quickly noting he's not for bans....lest he were to get drawn and quartered by his peers for an opinion The compromise is a good thing..... but the problem doesn't lay in the HSUS not trying to take all or nothing...it does though with hunters wanting all or nothing...for do you think the non land owning public land hunters would say hey thats OK...Let private land owners hunt on the weekends good for them!! We'll stay home with the wife and kids or what ever....Ha...ya that will work...but at least it's a thought toward a living together solution Perhaps Sunday hunting only during late gun or archery seasons ...cold then not as many recreational ppl out Doc is right and it's just going to get worse

Bye the way....the goat barn clothes worked great up until the yote incident ,,,,my billy stinks up everything around from late August till January and the does go in heat in late Aug....deer buck just hang around the goats pasture The chain saw thing ...I think I mentioned some where here that while hunting one fall I kept hearing a chain saw starting and stopping on a neighbors property...every 20mins. give or take...was driving me nuts........it was some one hunting ...using it as a call...lol Me... I step in goat droppings or deer droppings....some times stop by an apple tree or I put a couple of apples/overripe pears in a mesh bag and stomp them to mush ...then walk to my stand....that has worked pretty well over the years to mask my boots and lay a scent trail ( disclaimer...best done after bees are not an issue...experience..lol)

You can bet that this is going to happen here as well...poking that ole hornets nest...as I've said before...hunters are land owners as well and with seasons expanding it's just poking the hive...like it or not....Just read in Popular Science that they are working hard to perfect the birth control drug for animals...deer and especially hogs....it will be coming to a state near you ...for years hunting was just coming and going with out a bunch of hoopla and then every body want this or that changed ...added... more time ect....ect ...well now the Fall tug of wars have begun ...JMO

Sorry about Gunner...our 13yr old male shepherd Bear did the same thing...I looked for three days ...until Mr. B said stop...I wouldn't like what I found...they know when it's time....God bless them

Here's Angel ...she was a save me pup our daughter brought home after my female shepherd passed from teet cancer....Shes a great companion in the woods and has saved me a couple of times from attacks( raccoons & skunk) ...and well caused a few skunk issues When they were passing out breed names she thought they said German pointer not Shepherd

here at home and down at camp we hang our deer out in the open with in sight of any one driving by...not for show(we're 320ft off the road)....best place to chill them down but also nothing to hide...guys around here that hunt on their wives tags ....other DMP's ...hhhmmm no tag anywhere...all seem to have the wifes buck and fawns ..ect ect hanging in other ppls garages...friends...parents...relatives..... No you can't stop cheats and sneaks and I bet we all know 1 or 2...3.... There's one guy around here that actually videos the buck with his wife holding it...just in case....he actually has a spare bow set up for her...just in case and shes NEVER gone out bow hunting in her life....yet every year she gets a deer...sad thing is DEC knows about him...it's the..... wheres the PROOF...just because several different ppl have said something over the years...well that's not proof...but then again he's fairly well connected..so there ya go....some times the best we can do is be the better ppl and fly straight....knowing that when we have something down to be proud of...well it's really something to be proud of....

Oh ya...I have all permanent blinds shored up and comfy lawn chairs in them....I have the two enclosed blinds and 1 1/2 acres of sorghum just loaded with seed heads plus they are loving the Succraseed....Maga plot and clover plots............I have 3 different flocks on the property that I know of

not surprised one single bit...happens a lot between 8M and 8N

Count your lucky stars your not in Texas....I also feel for low landers....when the farm fields here on the hill let loose and our driveway culvert pipe is roaring....I know the guys below us are getting hammered....1.8 miles down to the valley floor and town...picking up all the water and momentum as it flows...not good

So what are you saying?...that with out talking to them....lowering the 500ft rule and having a deer drop dead in their front side or back yard ....wouldn't make them any more or less anti hunting?....lol It would just make the local PD and courts a lot more busy....neighbor conflicts worse..... for do you think they are going to let you go pick up that dead deer? Because you can call the DEC until the cows come home and they CAN NOT LEGALLY force those land owners to allow you or them to recover that deer...all they can do is ask....Then you have every back yard hunter calling the already understaffed DEC to try and do recoveries....Gee no problems here....leave well enough alone... If the problem is so bad ..which I have no doubt ...then let your local DEC or and archery groups do small town /neighborhood public meetings ...explaining the benefits to all in $$$$$.... allowing permission to having their hunting neighbors...not outsiders...lower the deer population...Setting up certain days so every ones on the same page....but NO...that would take an effort that many just couldn't put them self's out there for
