LOL that stuff is near impossible to kill! Grizz where the heck are your weeds! I'm thoroughly jealous...I'm having a hard time keeping up with the weeds already.. Tomatoes have flowers and I have peppers! That is no some feat let me tell you..second planting of corn has sprung and first is about 6 in. high...pumpkins just peeked through, as well as second cukes planting. 4 rows of beets are small but look great, 2 other rows just peeking through...Beans are looking poorly and I may have lost all the bush green beans most of the yellows, all braccs look great first cukes have sprung up and summer squash is growing well... EVERY thing is still small except lettuce and peas have flowers...Ohh I have found over half dozen plants in the compost and hay field from last years squash and pumpkin patch. I will trans plant to garden this weekend.

You must really have gotten those little knickers in a bunch, for you need to choose one of these little ditties from your own mouth..Oh you have twisted several things and just plain made up things I supposedly said ,then call me a liar. Doewhacker this is the real problem that's happening here. You may get away with these little tactic's with others and in your mind win something because they eventually back down. I will not back down from a little bully and believe me, you don't even make to the big bully class in my eyes. So your on the verge of wild, your postings clearly show this. Give your self a needed time out and take a breath.

The hay field is green but only about an inch high...very very slow..I have never grown hay so don't know how fast a new planting should be. What I do know is how surprised I was that a doe and fawn were standing out in it at 10:30 am trying to eat it....they weren't happy to see me...

Do you think your hurting my feelings ..I wish to hell you'd block me! I didn't chime in on this thread I made it and you ,the troll that you are, was the one that chimed in, and talk about exaggerate!. Again I NEVER lied and you are a contemptible little person that really needs to pull up his big boy pants and grow up....JMPO BTW... do you have any clue as to how absolutely ridiculous that above statement is? Or do you honestly believe the people reading this are as dumb as you appear to think they are? You were given some good advise by another member you should think about taking it.

Third storm of the day ,pouring out..well I did get a little weeding done and a slew of trees dropped.. With only one very large poplar giving me a head ache...but all's taken care of..though it's still hung up....I'll have to let the high wind due soon take care of it for me...Dang zipped through them all so fast ...wonderful sharp blade. Crushed my brush pile fence in a few places but hey that's the way the leaning tree falls...lots of tops to build it back up...The deer will have lots of tops to munch until the weather permits my cleaning up the lattice of logs I have to section. The guys will have a lot of fire wood for camp this fall

Culver..this had been there for years it was incorporated into the top layer of soil.. Now You know that certain hazmat training has been done and certain knowledge has been acquired by Mr B ..He knew exactly what he was doing with what he saw in that disgusting mess. He knows soils as well as I, it's the nature of the business...yes land fills are different. The official we spoke with understood the situation so between the two I have no concerns of any dire consequences from things buried that had already been leach for years..This was a farm family...I people do not know that farms have been buring their garbage for centries and still do then we have some clueless people out there..Though admittedly I believe much of what was there was from the kids that left home and live near by. Now I down loaded a pdf file admittedly from Texas that out lines the requirements for....PRIVATE land fills I am sure there are probably more out there. It is actual common place for many large land owners and farmers across the country and it has government rules backing it... Which are pretty simple. http://www.tceq.texas.gov/publications/rg/rg-455.html/at_download/file

To wet...Well my trees have a blanket of moss growing around them...my soil everywhere including the garden has a film of green covering it and I was checking the moss growing on the ground everywhere when I saw something strange...I huge patch of a strange shade of green in the clover plot...I reach down to see if flat and leathery..Lichen. Now living where we do it's common but not on worked soils nor growing at this rate...I suppose it decided not to be out done by all the other fungi this weather has encouraged..lol

Yes and my PH is lower than that...I actually have a 5# bag I'm still hoping to get in this fall. The alfafa comes in goog and much taller than the clover ..first to get tipped off but it does go dormant late in the season ..why a good mix is preferred by me. I always add a couple of bags(small plots) to the plots each year this is to maintain a good PH most plants do well on soils that aren't too neutral. So much info on specific plant species...reading up on each and their chemical and mineral requirements is extremely helpful. That and The breeding of what you are using...some can handle certain thing better than others with in the same group..ex..to say all clovers aren't equal is an understatement. One thing for sure...Alfalfa's like well drained soils.

Belo your as transparent as a good pair of optics....I would garner a guess you spent a good deal of time tying to find one and could not. That or yes ,you did find they were within the time frame I mentioned, not when this happened. BTW speaking of turning ppl in, like I have even a minute concern about that. I will however contact the monitors if you and Doewhacker come into call me a liar or derail one of my posts again... This post started out as a good reminder of how ones actions or in actions can harm wildlife and that was lost through out this BS. Though let me point out 8 ft deep animals aren't going to be getting injured. I have no concerns nor would I EVER care about what the likes of people like you think of me. I would put out a pretty good guess, that neither does anyone else.

You need to go back and read the posts GH...

Living near the Canasaraga creek I fished a lot. Grandpa was a big trout fisherman and hunter. We spent many hours sitting together on the creek and local ponds and reservoirs fishing..He taught me a lot about trout fishing.currents, pools, overhangs, shadows and hatches. Then we lived on Conesus and the Genesee river, plus the swamps of south Orlando. The kids spent a few weeks on Loonlake each summer and we live minutes from the lakes,Cohocton River and Naples and Springwater creeks. Both were in scouts so summer camps were on water. Now both are way too busy. Though while kayaking our daughter pulled a very expensive rod and reel out ofthe water ..the tip needs repairing but an easy fix.

Well the oats may not be paletable by the time season rolls around the clovers will probably do Ok..but they tend to slow in growth in the heat of summer. The turnips will get big but depending on variety the greens may start to decline before frost sweetens them. Depending on how they were mixed they may get too big and crowd out the clover. Good thing, the oats should get them visiting the plot and the bulbs will be a late attractant ,if they are use to turnips in your area.

Prayers for him, your family and his medical team. May Gods grace blanket you all and bring you the best results.

It's already planted in that?

What is that exactly Belo ...as i said I stood in my woods 2 ft. From those DEC officals when they told me they do not regulate such things. Now that was at the time and I clearly heard them tell us that what we intended to do with the farmers garbage was fine. I also went through manny town ordinances across the state, today many do not address this with exception to " junk yards" The rest mostly never addressed it until 2008 when there were many..well after Our purchase.
-
They couldn't figure out how to work a condom ...They had no chance with understanding what guns and bullets do..Condolences to the kids.
-
LOL...hahaha...pretty sure you don't want that info. The farmer we bought from...which I'm fairly sure the gARBAGE CAME FROM, HAD 13 KIDS A FEW DAUGHTERS WITH THE YOUNGEST PUSHING 70. tHE OLDEST IN THEIR 80'S...Sorry cap lock.. Anyways even radioactive material eventually breaks down..
-
Apparently radioactive hot...LOL

Lets post that whole paragraph shall we, then post the DATES on the other, one has nothing to do with residential trash and the other came into play years later but still no baring. Now we both know you think people will read your post with out checking and you'll look Oh so righteous in this little feeble yet, predictable attack. Now I actually did go through a good many of those subparts and the code numbers ,Mr smoke and mirrors...that talk of hospital waste and radioactive wastes...ex: https://govt.westlaw.com/nycrr/Document/I4eabd99dcd1711dda432a117e6e0f345?viewType=FullText&originationContext=documenttoc&transitionType=CategoryPageItem&contextData=(sc.Default) Now lets go with this one as well from your above post: https://nysaswm.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/1.-NYS-REGS-LANDFILL-DESIGN-CLARKSON.pdf
-
So that's all you could come up with after reading your links...lol
-
No what I said was at the time, yes..how old are you? Wait how many times did I mention Town ordinances and the fact the DEC official said it was under TOWN ordinances? You can check most towns NOW and find ordinance against such things...Just like with grey water emissions.. most places in the country would have grey water lines and many are still grandfathered in as with older barrel type septic.. grey water and barrel septic are not legal to put in now but that wasn't the case and not all that long ago. The only reason I continue with you on this is well you make me laugh and put things out there some may not know.
-
Really ? Please go back and actually read those links you provide PLease PLease.. nothing nothing to do with private house hold s on private land ..unless they are ground water contaminates ...Oh yes radio active, producing odors and or dusts ...not one mention of them regulating PRIVATE home owner wastes. Those are for collection and business The stuff that hadn't disintegrated was visible kitchen type stuff in plastic or what had been plastic bags as it and the dirt scooped up with it was transferred to the 8ft deep whole dug to bury it replacing the area with part of the clean dirt before filling the hole with remaining. So yes Mr grasping at straw we saw what was in it. So you thought just reading that disgusting... you should have had to deal with it to know disgusting
-
Did I some how some where on here say I was disposing of low level radio active or hazardous waste? Well maybe... perhaps those tampons we found were from a serious HOT vagina.. Whats wrong with you...
