@ApexerER totally agree. Legislating common sense has never worked and never will, we have speed limits and seatbelt laws and yet every year people are killed speeding and killed by their seatbelts that are supposed to protect them. There is no way to legislate idiot drivers, much as there is no way to legislate idiot hunters. And yes I do realize accidents can happen even if we are being careful

@turkeyfeathers It's just my personal preference. To each his own

I only wear orange when I'm walking, I don't want people seeing me when I'm set up Then again I hunt only private land

Have a couple beers at a holiday party? Please don't drive home! Its just not worth it guys. Last night we had an accident in our local area and the guy is super lucky to be alive, was driving too fast for the conditions (Crazy foggy) and had been drinking, He totaled his brand new truck and we had to have FD use the jaws of life to get him out. Hes lucky and will get to keep his legs but could have easily been killed. Just wanted to give everyone a reminder that drinking and driving is definitely no joke!

Sorry bud your wrong, We have tons of amazing law enforcement officers on the streets today, working in EMS I have had the chance to work with quite a few of them and I have nothing but respect for them and their job.

I'd have too disagree with the guys saying that I'm filming for the popularity or something, sure I like sharing my hunts but that's not why I do it, I do it because I absolutely love filming. And yes my main problem is just not making the decision to kill, I'm always thinking that there might be a buck following her or a bigger doe right down the trail, I need to just take the first ethical shot I have and not worry about what could happen. I'm gonna try to apply that mindset and take the first shot that presents itself. The rut is just heating up so hopefully that shot is at a big buck! Thanks guys! It helps just to hear other guys tell me what they think I'm doing wrong lol even though that sounds strange

I'm a bit puzzled at myself guys, I've had several Chances at does so far this year and every time I've passed on the shot, Why can't I shoot?! The one time it was cause I couldn't get my camera on it due to a branch in the way, the rest have just been cases of me standing there filming it for 15 minutes and not being able to convince myself that this is the one I want to shoot, the worst example of this was yesterday on my last evening in Ohio, I filmed a nice doe for 15 minutes hanging out at 10 yards before she walked away, and my camera guy (second angle camera from another tree) was going crazy trying to figure out why I'm not shooting it. What's up with me?!

Thanks guys! On my way home from Ohio, no luck on getting anything this trip :-( I did talk more with my brother and he's decided to do a shoulder mount of his buck

I'd like to give my younger brother a huge congrats on his first deer!!!! Unfortunately I wasn't able to share this hunt with him since I'm hunting in Ohio this weekend but I'm told he made an awesome shot and it only went a little ways, I'm honestly jealous since this is the biggest buck I've ever seen on our farm!
