I am missing something (it happens from time to time). Seems to me the site already filters out political posts (at least on my PC & phone). Political posts are in the directory: Home -Other -Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions and don't show up in "recent topics"; you have to actually want to read them to find them. I DO realize they show up in "unread posts", but are labeled as political posts, is it really a big deal to scroll on past? Or do I just have a different version of this website?

Yes, but I only have a small boat for crabbing. Most of my fishing is on party boats and an occasional charter.

It is incredible, and deeply troubling at the same time. Anyone with any type of celebrity status who questions the election results is automatically deemed a conspiracy theorist, and silenced. If the election was done by the book and legit, why is anyone asking questions muffled & banned from Twitter & other social media sites?

Here is what I see as the problem. First, none of us was there. There must have been some threat if the family felt the need to call the police. Make that phone call, and all bets are off, the police will respond with whatever force they feel is appropriate to get the situation under control. Maybe it's not right, but that is how it usually works. If the child that was sprayed with pepper spray was another skin color (because, contrary to what the media tells you, police issue beatdowns & pepper spray to lighter skinned, unruly people also) would that be a justified reason to riot & steal? Or is it only acceptable when dark skinned people get a beating? Bottom line- the majority of rioters could care less about this girl; they are just looking for an excuse to loot & destroy.

Honestly, at the risk of being dubbed a Conspiracy Theorist by a handful of lefties & sock puppets here, how else can you logically explain what is going on in Washington, OTHER than a power grab by the left, with the Chinese always looming in the background? Such a sad time in the history of our country, maybe we can take it back, maybe not. People need to think through what has really happened and is happening, before their very eyes, and stop relying on the bias news we are fed all day long.

I do think a LOT of younger people who are liberal change the way that they think about things, when they work a number of years, accumulate wealth or a decent standard of living, and suddenly don't want to share what they have with people who didn't want to apply themselves, or who just snuck across the border looking for handouts. The wildcard in all this is that the public schools indoctrinate them at an early age with a lot of leftist propaganda. I'm hoping that the damage can at least be halted, or better yet reversed before it is too late.

I don't believe so, it's probably suggested in the bill to make it difficult to own or shoot a Barret .50 cal rifle. I don't know all of the gun ownership laws in NY (I only owned land there for a while & lived there when I was in college), but they are a fairly popular rifle to own if you want to be able to take out cinder blocks at 800 yards.
