  1. If it was legal here, I would try it.
  2. Yeah the sun is at higher angle now and even though temp is still cold there is good amount of melting,
  3. I think the crazy weather will have them wondering if they came back early!
  4. So far we have had 24+ inches in eastern Niagara County and strong winds blowing it around.
  5. Made up batch of venison chili this morning in crockpot, and added extra tablespoon of hot sauce. Topped the bowl I just had with mild cheddar and butter milk bisquits on the side.
  6. Thanks for well wishes everyone, things went smooth except for the nurse trying get the stent in my veins , my wrist feels like a pin cusion! I will see my doctor next Wed and he will go over results. Until then, it's trying be positive!
  7. Going to have my 5 year CT Scan of my lungs this morning, to check for any return of my lung cancer. I have good feeling results will be good, and 5 years is kind of the milestone marker if you have gone thru any kind of cancer, for the Doctor tells you your cancer free. I have been in remission since chemo and the surgery to remove part of my lung and so far have beaten the deadliest form of cancer, and am hoping for positive results from the my Oncologist when I see him next week for the results. Then I'm going to see if they can take out my medi-port thats been in me since the start of this juorney. Wish me luck!
  8. I went over to Walmart in Albion this late afternoon for small bottle of propane and they were out of all of them and all camping stoves sold out too.
  9. My electric finally back on half hour ago, went out at 3:30 pm yesterday.

The Polar Bear Swim for Sight is this afternoon at Olcott Beach. Are you going to take a dip in Lake Ontario this afternoon Jeremy? You will need more than a 6 pack LOL
  11. Maybe mix it with ground coyote meat? lol
  12. I have cam in one corner of my sisters yard, busy spot it seems....owl,fox,coyotes and a rabbit. The rabbit was in a lot of previous pics, but I think something made a dinner out of him cause he is camera shy now.
  13. I found this on friends property yesterday when I was out metal detecting, and was wondering what it might be from. It has pretty good set of teeth on it, whatever it is. It was on his lawn near the shed where i found it.
  14. I always try to get some time in....finding a spot, researching where go, all the stuff that goes into the hobby. My 2 detectors are beginner-mid level machines, but they have alot on them to help you find stuff. Physically, my back issues slow me a little, but i'm not in a rush anyways. Today I packed a lunch and coffee in the thermos for my break, and headed out. The exciting thing is you never know what you will dig up!
  15. Decided to take advantage of warmer weather and go hunt with the Whites Coinmaster GT and some practice with my Bounty Hunter Land Ranger Pro. I went to my friends property up on the Lake Ontario shore and worked over the lot some with both detectors. Had to use alot of discrimination on both machines as there is a lot of trash in ground from him tearing down his mobile home and cottage on lot next door he bought. He's going build his retirement home here. Ground was bit wet in some spots, but I recovered a few clad coins and what I believe is part from keychain says OPEL on it. Soil is very acidic as i could only get dates off of 1 penny, a 1976. So it was good to get out and get some air and have fun with hobby, first time I ever hunted in Febuary with detector, it's usually frozen ground!
  16. They recently put up signs at Golden Hill State Park in Niagara County stating "No coyote or fox hunting" Small game hunting is allowed in the park, and a lot of non hunters also use the park for dog walking and joggong etc. I have seen guys going in there with their hounds an letting them go after the fox and coyote, and I think they caused problems with people just walking thru park, which is not very large area and there are safety zones marked also. I'm not positive as to why they stopped the coyote and fox hunting, but a pheasant hunter told me last fall that is reason they might do it.
  17. You can smell the it, and the stench is so bad!
