I saw it also, they said New York State is ranked 28th in the nation when it comes to collisions with deer. I have to not believe those stats only cause I did 4500 in damage last year hitting one, and my sister and two friends also hit deer with their cars.

I saw on news lots of people who arrived at stadium early with their campers were turned away the lots filled to capacity with RV's. That has to be aggravating for the fans, some them traveled quite a ways to come watch game. Kind of puts a damper on their tailgate plans having find other place to park!!

Used up the last few packs of ground venison made some jerky in dehydrator and the rest of the day laid on the couch and watched t.v.

Have to go for my yearly C T Scan of my chest tomorrow morning. It's been 3 years this past Aug of my lung cancer diagnosis and it seems like yesterday to me. And since I had chemo and surgery to remove my lung I have shown no sign of any cancer and am so thankful to the people that made it a reality for me. It may have slowed me down just a bit, but I am up and active everyday. Guess I get a little anxious thinking about the scan, but I feel good and I know things will be positive. And thanks to the members here that have given me support thru the last few years, it means a lot and helps keep my outlook positive. Can't wait till deer season!!

I wonder how many would call D.E.C. on their neighbor in an instant but when they are driving home with their legally taken deer on their truck are illegally talking on their cell phone calling friends about the 8 point they shot.

Congrats on your decision to stop cigarettes, it is a tough thing to do but so worth it for your health and money you save. It's a tough thing to beat and just stay focused on your desire to quit and you will be successful. I have been smoke free for 9 years now and lung cancer survivor for 3 years now. Good luck!!
