erussell, if it was my place and that's the size of the kill plot, I would plant winter rye/oat mix. I would plant september 1st and come October you will have a good kill plot! JMO
I wanted to plant AO but planted native brush trees like dogwood, chokeberry, service berry, button bush, arrowwood, blackhaw and wild plum to name a few.
I was able to finally disc 20 acres this past weekend. Planting corn and soybeans. Just need to watch the weather and see when we will get several days of sun to dry out the fields.
Nice G-man. Oaks are still in bud stage. I did get the soil ready to plant this weekend but wasn't able to plant my corn. I have a JD 1240 planter that needs new fingers on two planters. Looks like memorial day I will get the corn and beans in. What kind of planter you using?
