  1. I will be sending in my comments. One thing I would have loved to see on this plan was pushing gun season to the last week of November to December20th and than start late season for 10 days.
  2. Faintail, for me spraying a plot with gly than tilling it under doesn't do much, since you will be disturbing the soil and releasing dormant seed. If you plan on doing a no plow or drilling in seed than spraying is the way to go. For your clover, you should have frost seeded some white clover the end of February however it's going to be warm during the day and under 30 at night so get the clover in now.
  3. I currently have the qad hdx and it's loud and the arm hits the shelf after the shot, no matter I much I move it up. Never had a problem with the moleskin.
  4. Anyone have one? Please give review. Thanks.
  5. Thanks john. Let's hope we have a good growing season!
  6. It's my understanding this is a current reg already.
  7. Looking to contract out my corn harvest? Anyone know a service out there in region 4? Thanks.
  8. why u making this a pissing contest? Did you see me use the word "crossbow"?

  10. I understand that but the original thread posted by moose didn't state he was going to use a gun. so I gave him another answer relating to using a bow. If he is going to hunt during the regular season, they both can use a bow and hunt.
  11. It's 12 years old: Hunt deer and bear with bow during the bowhunting season and the regular season, accompanied by parent, legal guardian or an adult 21 years or older designated in writing on the Mentored Youth Hunter
  12. It's just not apples and oaks, it's also elderberry, blackberry, dogwoods etc....that will take a hit. Only time will tell?
  13. Doc, I'm in 4f and I haven't seen any of the oaks bud out yet, so I would say they will be fine.
  14. This is why I don't plant early no matter how nice it is out. Planting early has a higher percentage that you will have crop failure. With that said I did turn over last year corn and soybean fields but will not plant again till may. I did plant 13 apple trees this past weekend that are out of the bud stage and into the leaf stage and hope they survive?
  15. beard bustin custom calls. Just picked up two mouth calls.
  16. Try beard busting calls. Local NY custom calls.
  17. I agree. Do they go down? If they point up it's a young deer, if they grow down its a mature deer. Look at some sheds you have and you will see what i'm talking about.
  18. i'm in region 4: brassica oats clover soybeans corn winter rye
  19. How rocky is your soil? If it's rocky I wouldn't rent the tiller. If no rocks, it will work great.
  20. John, I use dupont cinch on my sweet corn to controll weeds. I also believe it can be used on pumpkins too?
  21. Corn is one of the most expensive crop to plant if you want good yields.
  22. Fantail, give them a try...I will always plant soybeans on my farm.
