    I knew in elementary school I was going to be in the machine trades. I had to pay for all my classes when I finally got into my apprenticeship but it was all worth it in the long run.

    For every guy you see on tv doing high end carpentry ,there is tens of thousands of rough framing carpenters, still a very small platform for high end work, and an even smaller amount of people willing to pay for top notch work. A lot of the business is done by fly by night guys with a substance abuse problem willing to work for peanuts.

    They all buy a brand new truck and put a lift kit on it all while living in extended stay roach motels .

    It's just like wood working but the tools are different , you start out with a finished product in your head and go from there.

    I haven't heard anything negative about a prime riser , they use the best quality aluminum alloy out of any of the current bow mfg. The 82x is supposed the best thing going as far as combination of strength and light weight.

    I think the biggest leap in the archery tech world has already taken place with the cam system the Prime bows are using . Now they just need to work on making the draw cycle more consumer friendly.

    Then they gave everyone the nocam speech to take the focus off the solocam they were craming down everyones throat.

    They used to make the astro or safari , the AWD models were really capable in off road conditions. Not sure why nobody filled the void.

    They make a camera that takes a picture 360 degrees , yes it made by WG but mine is a few years old and still going strong.

    We got close to a couple dozen strawberry so far ,these are the average size ,some smaller .

    I recommend the OnX app for your phone . It switches between satelite,topo or both. It's a really slick set up that is geared for exactly hunting . Save and share waypoints, check wind direction, property lines are posted along with the owner name,state lands are marked.

    I try to place my cameras as if I was hunting the area and stay down wind . Doesn't always work out the way It supposed to. I have watched deer walk up to my trail camera and sniff it ,only to just walk away.
