    I had too many to count fall on me Saturday when it was super hot out . I believe most of them were wood ticks and not deer ticks . I saw one crawling up the tree that was a deer tick ,maroon body with the white stripe around the outside.

    How long before the "disabled" people play the system ,think of it as people with a handicap pass on their mirror ,those are largely distributed to people who are just lazy ,it just takes the right doctor . You get people who actually need to use one and can't find a place to park.

    Was it something other then just choking? I'm always worried my little guy is gonna choke, we both took the cpr/first aid class ,almost had to use a few times now ,especially since he started feeding himself.

    I dont have much experience with them , is an air compressor strong enough to dislodge the ball? Not even sure if the compressed air would be behind the ball since there is no powder.

    The jacket I wear mostly is waterproof and has no preformed holes for a tag holder , the place i hunt mostly i just dont wear it until gun season when i have a different jacket on. If i hunt anywhere else I'm not sure how I would attach it.

    Have you tried using the release clipped on ,for slow walks it's nice ,obviously if you get in some uneven ground you want a hand free . I always liked using the release clipped on to distribute the weight to both arms and you're already set up to shoot.

    Sorta related story . My dad told me back in the 70s when him and my uncle hunted some state land in angelica, they would close down the bar in town, when my dad would get back to camp ,he would put on his camo,grab his bow and go sleep on the ground under his stand ,whenever he woke up he would climb up and start hunting.

    I think it was a kid , low poundage bow . Anyone hunting should have broadheads ,maybe the occasional field point in the quiver . If they were hunting and had a field point ,it should have zipped right through.

    If I'm tired in the stand it's because I was tired before I got in the stand , it never puts me to sleep or makes me tired . I usually stand the whole time and typically stay alert the whole time.

    I used to use a climber as my go to stand left in the woods ,only because it was so heavy . Never fixed it in the up position and climbed to it ,just always walked it up and down when hunting.

    I just cringe at the thought ,all that up and down shifting to find the optimum gear . Just give us a damn manual 6 speed option.

    I've heard good things about those stands . I'm also getting ready to knock the dust off my climber for this weekend ,kind of a hail Mary attempt at some recently discovered deer travel info.

    I have no doubt they will get full inclusion at some point . I don't think I'll ever agree with the decision .

    Afraid you got your facts mixed up ,the verticle bow is more the capable of taking deer . Ever hear the term operator error? Back to my other comment ,it takes practice and commitment to use a bow successfully or just look through a scope and pull the trigger. People want the easy way out .

    They have small simple units just for that purpose ,no extra bells and whistles ,a simple cookie crumb trail to get you you home.
