Alot of leaning trees where we hunt , im not worried about the wind affecting the deer as much as im worried about having a tree cave in my skull.

Put one of those sore muscle type heating pads with the sticky stuff over your kidney area . Your body has no choice but to circulate the hot blood around .

Will just posting the deers head cause any problems that you guys can see?

I just had a picture sent to me of a buck supposedly taken from somewhere near pendelton , they were saying it could be some kind of state record . I don't want to post it publicly because the guy who shot it is in the picture . Could be legit i guess ,the utv in the background has a NYS plate on it.

Probably are some crack smokers but their finger tips are to burned to type and chime in.

I have a pair of 2000g Irish setters, they are big and loud which makes for a crappy walking boot, for sitting all day they are really warm.

CVA Apex with a bushnell Elite 600 DOA . I shoot the 168g silvertips , one inch group at 200 yards from the bench, ill get to the range after the season and see how they hold at 300 yards.

My dad uses one of those back packs that folds into a chair, I can't remember the last time he was in a tree, I stand as long as I can in my tree stand, my feet will tingle eventuality and I'll sit for a little bit.

Most people like that are long gone after opening weekend.

Ive read enough internet arguments to realize when one person values their own opinion so much that they will in no way ever try to see things from a different angle . Now im a thief ? I guess i should just be happy to have a family that is worth more to me than 2 nontagged deer which is what all this bickering is about ,losing your family or tagging 2 deer. I should be more worried about tagging one deer this year before the season ends instead of arguing about stuff that will never change.

The comparison was you turning in somebody for every law that they break because its a law that is meant to be enforced . Its funny listening to people talk about the safe act being bullcrap and the government shouldn't regulate everything and then turn around and say that the man knows whats best and we need to play by their rules line per line.

I would still like to know if you would turn in a family member for speeding or running a stop light.

If the guy was molesting kids or robbing banks then the decision would not be so hard to make , do you turn family members in for speeding or running a red light?

I am certainly not in favor of this type of behavior , i throw away perfectly good tags every year because i didn't take a questionable shot and before you know the season is over and no deer have been taken . Not an easy decision to make when you consider that he is watching his family do this, he has emotional bonds to these people ,which is where it becomes hard to just go straight to the law .

I am all for us hunters patrolling the woods and keeping other hunters in check . You have to admire and give props to the OP for growing up around such behavior and having the intelligence to realize that it is wrong . Certainly we should at least agree that this would really put someone in a real moral dilemma , nobody wants to get their family members in trouble with law and the majority of us don't want the hunting laws put in place to be taken lightly . The list of arguments to support each side could be rather long . Maybe we should start offering the OP some suggestion on correcting the problem at the root of it with out losing his family all together .

Along with the sounds of opening day are seeing the people on their way down to camp . My dad and i saw a guy in a full deer skin outfit one year going into a store , we laughed our a$$es off ,he had the arm fringe and all , his back tag was firmly affixed to the back.
