I was curious what some other hunters thought about which instinct out weighs the other and to what degree . During archery season my dad and i see a good amount of deer activity ,some nice bucks moving around and groups of 5-8ish doe just cruising through , as shotgun approaches we notice the activity shuts off like a switch . We hunt 90 acres of land that vary from thick pines to a overgrown orchard and a hill side with mature hardwoods . The plot is a lot deeper than it is wide ,we know the deer travel at least 3 different properties during their nightly loop before returning to our hunting land . So my question is ,does hunter pressure trump a deers instinct to breed or is the desire to breed the top priority ? We are under the impression that we need to take our vacation time next year in the first couple weeks of archery before the neighbors get ready for gun season (neighbors don't hunt bow that we know of).

Best thing i ever discovered at gander mtn , is the metal cart that floats around the back of the store with all the dust covered items for sale . I got a gorilla safety harness still in the box albeit beat to crap , i think i paid like 25 cents on the dollar for it.

If you take away someones choice to be gay or straight then you most certainly have to take away their right to speak publicly about your views on the subject , at least in this country.

Im to much of a dog lover to pick a dog solely by breed , just about always had mutts except for my yellow named duke when i was a kid.

Then you run into problems with snowmobile season .

I snow blow the neighbors sidewalk and he'll get mine if he's out first, we both have snow blowers, the neighbor on the other side is one of those people that just rams her car through the snow all year long, if she isn't going to at least try to clear her drive then I'm certainly not going to worry about it.

For the people that are having good luck with the WH ,what primer are you using ?

I bought a box when i purchased my Apex , I never could get 2 back to back shots out of the gun , always had to push a brush between shots . I actually just threw out 3/4 of box of white hotts ,no point even keeping them around.

For next year i am going to harvest the semi decomposed leaves from around my tree stand and grind it into my hunting clothes , every time i ever cleared the leaves away to stand by a tree ,i was overwhelmed with the smell of "forest" .
