  1. I'm not sure what shop I've seen it (could be Nick's?) but there is a display of a pile of Robin Hooded arrows. I always thought that was pretty cool but it sure could get costly for a guy doing it often, one worry I didn't have. So I've got this new bow and it was set up and tuned by Roy at Nick's Sporting Goods. He shortened my arrows by 2" and turned me loose....... When I shoot in the basement (usually clothed to some degree) it is very short range, mostly just to keep my muscles from shriveling up completely and I shoot at individual little spots. Last week I shot some outside at about 17-18 yards and did a Robin Hood. Well that was pretty cool but what are the chances of it ever happening again? I shot a bit a few days later outside at the club I belong to, it went well but no 'Hoods. This morning I ventured out to the swamp and plunked a few in the Block. Damn are you kidding me? So now I have to start changing things up or keep buying arrows.
  2. Well............any pics of the proud new daddy playing with the baby this morning?!?!
  3. The furnace is safe but I did pull one to the right............
  4. Mine is neck in neck with yours..........Pork tenderloin, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, salad and apple sauce for chow. A couple Woodcock Brewery Niagara Lagers pre-game and some Riesling to wash it all down. If I go shoot the bow now I could knock out the furnace. Hang on, I think I will..........
  5. I'll bust 121,000 next week on mine. 2011 and I need new rubber for it now, that's all.
  6. Beautiful, just beautiful. Happy New Years to you & yours Matt.
  7. The Model 342 ti is the one I carry the most, 11oz empty is what appeals to me. Model 37 is relegated to ankle carry (cause that is what my Alessi holster is set up for). The gun pictured above was purchased while I was searching for (hens tooth) the 342.
  8. I have a party to go to tomorrow for a fellow turning 70 and need a gag gift idea. Any help would be appreciated.

  12. OK, my turn. From another web site I was able to have access to an estate sale of a PILE of Geno Denning knives prior to them being listed to eBay and some other sites. I picked out of this one and my wife, stumped at what to get me for Christmas offered to buy it for me. The deal was struck and it came USPS Priority mail from Alaska and sat in the shipping box until xmas morning. It's been a looooong time since I was more excited for a gift coming my way than me giving one to my wife, woot! She won't need to get me a Christmas present for a few years now.........
