And this reminds me, I did find the camera on Sunday. Right where I put it in February! Nothing great on it, just the usual suspects; deer, turkey, squirrel and birds. One dog I didn’t recognize too.

Highfalutin Lebrun Rd jake was walking down the middle of the road in front of me this morning. Lebrun Rd is a VERY high rent district here in Amherst. That's one smart bird to be hanging out there.......probably is fed somew high end grub and swims in only the best pools.

They have new content; looks interesting.

I saw one hen three times. Never heard a gobble, got pretty darn wet and ate up by bugs.......not unheard of on a spring gobbler hunt.

Black flies (or whatever the fugg they are) were HORRID today in the turkey woods. Even the mosquito squadron was flying strong......... Funny (NOT) was the fact that I even remembered to get the bug spray off the shelf in the garage last night and since the garage door was down, I just brought it in and set it on the kitchen table, figuring I'd just grab it and my gun and hit the road. Nope......somehow it ended up sitting on the snowblower and not in my truck all day. That's what you get when you get up at 3am, confusion. I got to my buddies at 10:30 after a 150 mile hike and he looked at me funny as I had squished bugs in the corners of my eyes and cheeks. Can't imagine how many I swallowed. Have fun bear hunting guys!!

For a bunch of years now we couldn't bring PA deer into NYS..........it's a pain in the azz but we comply by either butchering in the farmers barn or in the field if conditions permit.
