I've found lots of cool things over the years. I don't know what was the craziest thing though....... As a very young hunter (maybe 14-15) I found a Puma sheath knife. I still have it but in the saddest of saddest moves, I let my buddy Steve use it to (UGGH) cut a broadhead out of a tree and he started to pry the head out. Even as a young piss pot I knew you shouldn't be doing that. He busted the tip off PDQ. WE took it to his dad's shop and promptly ground a new "tip" on it, someday I'll post a picture of the disaster that was the end result. I can't come up with anything too crazy now as I'm pretty tired but gimme a few minutes........

Luck to you Brian, Bob and all others in tow. Yea, don’t shoot a dink. BTDT. He did look HUGE next to the barrel and I poked him sooo fast with the .280 you wouldn’t believe it. I climbed down and found him 50-60 yards back in the bush. Man was I excited!! (Until I figured out I could load him on the 4 wheeler alone). 160lbs of pure fighting fury. Can't remember where I hung one of my trail cams, it's a Browning too! I've been scratching my head for a couple days..........Sunday I pulled cards from three others but couldn't recall where the fourth on is. I CAN'T be the only one to have done this, can I?

It amazes me that I don’t find more sheds while turkey hunting. For all the walking I do and to find very little to speak of. On the second day of the season I picked up a hunk of well chewed antler and was carrying it out in my hand. I was afraid to put it in my vest game bag because if I sat against a tree it’d surely break. Well when I did hear a gobble a while later I just set the antler on a big dead log, a donation back to the critters that need it more than me.
