Had that happen this year with a different camera. Just fixed it last week....

I've had this picture since 2009 and even posted it here years ago I believe. I always sold it as a bear's ear..........at the time I retrieved the card; the camera was tilted sideways, the camera base cover was on the ground and the camera had marks in it that sure looked like they were from an animals teeth. I look at it now and still wonder, is it a bear? What do you see?

I'm still waiting to burn a couple boxes of S&H Green Stamps. I've been hanging onto them for almost 40 years, waiting on the PERFECT opportunity........THIS could be it.

Finally I get to tell you face to face how I feel...........

I've had outstanding luck with the members here......met quite a few and have been impressed by all of them. From the first meet up with Pygmy to the latest with kpkot (last week!) they all are good guys. Skillet, Wildcats160, turkeyfeathers, Culvercreek hunt club, WNYBuckHunter, The_Real_TCIII, 2012_taco (neighbor) Larry302 and of course Dinsdale have all been guys I'd hang with any day. I probably forgot a couple too......... I don't know about hoofing it all the way to Albany but Rochester would be easy. BBQ in a State Park or overnight-er at same? Sporting clays/cook out? Talk to me Goose..................

Some of you may remember the story of dad's buck from this past fall. I told the story in the "2016 Harvest Thread" of how after the kill shot both horns fell off when the buck rolled to his side. Well I do the best I could; cleaned and boiled the skull then drilled holes in the bottom of the antlers then where they'd go in the skull. Some epoxy was used to hold it all in place. I'll have to see what I can do with the area where the two different surfaces meet as it sure doesn't look natural. All told I'm satisfied with the outcome so far......
