I'm in for a party. What time does it start? Happy Birthday F-150, have a great night!

Come on man.......................................don't go THERE.
-
JHC you JUST reminded of another victim in my youth............a Stevens single shot youth .22 that I busted a firing pin on. Another stiff for Firing Pin Heaven................... I'll tell ya, the mind is a terrible thing to loose.
-
Yes, I know that DFa RF are a no no but I've done it for years with (up to now) no problems. The anchors are a great idea..............
-
I shouldn't say this because it'll surely jinx me but in 45 years of dry firing everything I own I've only busted one firing pin and that was on a ULA rifle. Melvin said I'm the only one to ever break one..............figures.

Makes no difference after you have bought it. Pretty neat huh? Quite a nice gesture from the good folks in charge that I'm sure they regret!! I know a couple people that have one and moved out of state. If a family has a long legacy of hunting and has a camp that they expect to be in the family for many years it is a heck of a present for a new born boy. (I know, I know........chicks hunt too)

Not sure what you are saying in this post but yes, if a resident buys a lifetime resident then moves to Cornhole Tennessee he can return to NYS each and every year until he dies and hunt for FREE. How's that for a bargoooon? Quite possibly the best deal in the state..............

I don't think that is rust blued................. In case you are thinking of making an offer ( )................

Oh fiddle sticks, it worked!

Hey Bizzy......imbed this one the proper way for me: I always laugh my azz off at this guy. "You big sissy"

How about a little class in your large bore? Here is one I'm trying to sell for a friend, a beautiful Merkel SXS. 11G's takes it...........................
-
Hence the reason for its lack of popularity.

At least when the boy is of age he can hunt three weeks in gun season, hunt Sunday's and kill two bucks here in NYS. Probably should buy his Lifetime License now.

It sure is an amazing area. I have a feeling I was VERY close to where Doc (member here) lives, it was near Hawks Rd off Rt 21. For as much time as I've spent just to the west of there I never drove or rode Rt 21 many times. Like sooooo many areas in the Finger Lakes, Canandaigua Lake just wonderful. We are blessed to have all those great bodies of water.

Yesterday I was helping a friend do some work (he's a contractor, NOT the owner!) on an incredible home on the west side of Canandaigua Lake. It was just purchased for $1,350,000 and they and the neighbor to the north have bubblers running 24/7 to stop ice from forming around the docks and boat houses. The open water was loaded with redhead ducks and other species I'm not positive of. The really cool thing was they would dive UNDER the ice and disappear for 20+ seconds at a time before returning to the open water. I did have my good binoculars with me but couldn't spend much time gawking them but with I could have. A real birder would have gone bonkers.

Ya could sneak up on them injun style!

That certainly is a bummer for the person that dropped that bow. I dropped my Bowtech Guardian once.........fortunately it was the day before opening of gun and I had filled a couple tags already. It was absolutely breath taking watching my bow falling to the ground. After what seemed like forever it hit on one of the cams and bounced straight up before cartwheeling and landing with a thump in the pine needles. I climbed down sheepishly and looked her over, other than some serious damage to some Easton ACC shafts the bow, quiver and sights were fine. One of life's curve balls I guess...........

I grabbed a RK pheasant once or twice but pass on the deer, I usually have plenty of LK (Larry Killed) venison. A friend grabbed a buck the was hit by a car a few years ago. He called me for help.....when we pulled it from his truck I noted that all four legs were broken and the body look odd. I can't believe any of the meat on that deer wasn't horribly blood shot. We took it out to Clarence and dumped it.

Brutal....................... They are a tough bunch of owners, probably immune to Chirpes over years of exposure?
