  1. Its really been quite the success story. Turkey have really made the big times hear in NYS. When I killed one in Canadice in 1982 it was quite a big deal among many locals. Not too many birds resided in Ontario County then. 10 years later they could be found in nearly every tree. Their numbers have gone done quite a bit IMO in the county but there is still plenty to go around. Finding turkey in any city these days is no big deal.........North Tonawanda, Lockport, Batavia and even the village of Williamsville has plenty! We've had them in our backyard a couple times. Remember these pics I took in Lockport?..................................
  2. Why boar? We have quite a few deer here in NYS.
  3. Why boar? We have quite a few deer here in NYS.
  4. 200 rounds down the pipe of a 270wsm and you're likely to be wanting to sell it.....!!
  5. Why would YOU have to bring game bags on a guided hunt? I'd think the outfitter should provide them; bag the quarters then hand them to a processor. When the elk is processed the outfitter would get the bags back and wash them for the next hunt. I could see if it was a self guided hunt.................but guided? Oh well, good luck and I wanna see pics!!
  6. Does the author of the article know who you are and what you have done? How about the others, drop some names for us to look for. Thanks for what you're doing, too.
  7. Nahhhh, my kids are too old (they'd say no) for it!! Did you run it on your local Craigslist?
  8. Ronnie is lucky as heck he didn't get shot too.................................. Exciting stuff no doubt! I'd like to think I'd be pretty cool in that situation but likely I'd be screaming like a little school girl.
  9. THIS could be the proof we have ALL been waiting for! Get the DEC on the blower............they ain't gonna believe it!! Woooooooot!! Just funnin' with ya. I'd bet there will be a explanation for it.
  10. You didn't include the .
  11. My life is soooo boring.
  12. That is a pretty cool tramp. My neighbor just bought one and it looks like a POS.....
  13. I see they are both from Ohio. (they have an "O" on their license plate )

  15. Those things would be artificial bait. I would think "natural bait" would be another term for "live bait", yes?
  16. Funny thing though, I've gotten HUNDREDS of these calls in the past two years and I've called some back; not many but due to my business obligations I have to and I have YET to be scammed.........yet. I'm sue most of these things are computers randomly dialing numbers. Sometimes they hang up if all their operators are busy trying to peddle their ares to some other sap.
  17. Yea, not too much this time of year though. I certainly know the area...........a couple very nice homes on the east side of the lake Rd I'm always admiring!!
  18. Who's seen it? I haven't ever stumbled onto it but admit I don't spend too much time in the woods, fields etc this time of year. From what you hear& read it can be some nasty stuff. There was a blurb on the radio here today and thats what piqued my interest for this post. How about it, you gots the weed??
  19. Camo fools more hunters each year than deer.
  20. Easy, shoot more-shoot more often. If I had to use open sight on my guns I'd quit. Grins.....
  21. It's only a computer based calling rig. If you don't answer fast enough or some other blokes answer quicker, it hangs up on you. I get 6-8 a day as I have three numbers call forwarded to my cell. Trust me........
  22. Damn................so sorry to hear that.
