Bummer for those that wanted to do a little boating this weekend on Canandaigua or Honeoye Lakes is SOL.......... http://www.cnycentral.com/news/story.aspx?id=1048344#.U4FHGnZB-RM I was on the road from home headed to Honeoye this morning and I received a text from a friend cluing me in that it was CLOSED to all motor boat traffic. Well I'll be dipped. I kept driving and decided to hit Hemlock. Since NY State took over management of the Canadice/Hemlock watershed, one thing they made a change in is allowing boats with bigger than 10hp motors an opportunity to use the lakes as long as their over 10hp motor was tipped up and out of the water they could use their boats in the lake. Paddle, electric or 10hp or less kicker was cool as a cucumber. I used my 50lb thrust Minn Kota for 4.5 hours of fun in the sun at the south end. My buddy and I didn't slaughter 'em today but we sure had fun trying.......... One largemouth and one 27" chain pickerel made it in the boat and back out, non the worse for the wear. My legs and arms are fried and I'm bushed now. Maybe I'll give Honeoye a shot next week.

Its been a pretty good week around here. It started out with the monster gobbler I killed last Saturday, then on Tuesday I got some GREAT news regarding my business (I can't divulge it to the public yet though) Later Tuesday night we had the National Honor Society induction at my daughters school. She has done a wonderful job with her grades. She is a junior now in high school and has been on the honor roll every marking period! (even 6th, 7th and 8th grades too) Wednesday was my son's graduation from Erie Community College. It took him a few years to get the courses completed but he persevered. Yesterday I cut the lawn and edged the sidewalk. This morning my daughter won tickets to a concert from a radio station she has been punching the redial button for all week! She is so funny, typical 16 year old............ Tonight we are having family over for a pizza/wing party to celebrate sonny boys graduation. My wife and I are very proud of both of them! Oh, and tomorrow I am going to load the boat with panfish!

OK Skipper Bettis, then back to the original question. Why would someone with sheds like that even post a picture on the 'net? Clue me in.

I can't speak for porky's but I've certainly never seen anything like that in the squirrel woods I frequent.We have very few if any porky's in the areas I hunt.
