    That's easy........Labrador Retreiver. Black and yellow so far for me. Impossible to beat the breed for a family dog, IMO.

    Those areas in eastern-western NY got blasted with rain a couple weeks ago. Plenty of cold weather accompanied the heavy rain. I know from news reports that some areas in the Finger Lakes got better than 5" of rain in a couple days.

    I saw on the news this morning that a couple bears have been busy moving north.......one in Alden a turkey hunter filmed yesterday morning and another in West Seneca. The one in WS was a pretty good sized specimen, the other a dink. Bears are cool when they're somebody else's problem.

    I'm interested in building a couple spinning rods. Anybody here done it? I have a couple good friends that have that can help but I'd be curious if you guys have. Any gear you want to unload before I start acquiring? Thanks........ EDIT: Mods, move this to the DIY forum if its out of place.
